Just a really awesome podcast channel for dads and husbands.

This Podcast was suggested to me a few months ago from a friend. It’s the one Podcast I keep going back to because I find most of the information is relevant and very real. Larry doesn’t pretend to be a larger than life presence we can’t relate to, he’s a Dad, living everyday challenges like the rest of us. The guests on here are great! It’s a good mix between real dads who have struggles, and coaches who offer wisdom and advice. The Facebook groups are also a great place to connect with other like-minded fathers who share the passion of becoming better leaders for their family.

There are great things about this podcast but the amount of self-promoting (constant reminders to join alliance, 5-star reviews of the week, how many guys are in FB group, etc) is too repetitive and annoying.

Also, when everything is mind blowing and a game changer, the words lose all their impact. Gotta mix up the terms and reactions to guests’ comments/ideas a little more, Larry!

Larry Hagner creates a space for important discussions to be had. Men need this. The range of topics is wide: finances, parenting, heath, and so on. This podcast is all about becoming the best all round man and father you can be.

I have been listening to the podcasts for about 10 months. Since that time I have set goals, learned to talk to my kids in a way they understand, listened to men who have dealt with the same issues I have and others who have struggled through things I hope I never have to. Larry Hagner and his guests have provided me with tools to improve myself as a man a father and a husband. I feel that Larry has helped me change my life physically and mentally.

Being a dad is not something that you should “fake it until you make it”. Listening to this podcast has taught me that all dad’s have similar worries, concerns, hopes, and dreams when it comes to raising our kids. And this podcast opens up those conversations and provides such a wealth of information and knowledge to address all these things and more as it relates to being a dad. So happy I came across this show. It really is a must listen for dad’s!

As the title suggested, as a dad, it's tough for me to admit I don't know my stuff or how to solve something or even know how to truly spend time with my kids. I had no real connection to my dad (a cultural thing) so I did not know how to connect with my son.

But this podcast was and still is a great place for me to learn more than about being a good dad, but also being a better partner for my lady and gain the confidence in myself as a dude in this everso evolving modern day.

The conversations are genuine and now, being part of the community, I am blown away by the unmatched level of commitment to build and serve everyone.

Highly, highly recommend all dads (and dads2b) to subscribe and listen. Great stuff!

I started listening to this podcast a couple months ago and it's had a profound impact on my life. Larry interviews experts on topics such as fitness, finance, leadership etc.. He's also not afraid to go deep into topics like relationships, life's purpose, emotions and confidence. As a busy husband and father listening to this podcast has given me ideas on how to deal with challenges that a lot of us face. It has really helped me focus on what's important as a husband and father. Thanks Larry for your great work!!

Love this podcast! After 7 years of listening to podcasts this is the first time I went back to the begining and listening to all the previous episodes. Larry is his true authantic self and there are golden nuggets for dads in each show. This show is a must for any new dad!

The Good Dad Project (GDP) is a GAME CHANGER! Right now the only negative thing that I can say about this podcast is that I didn’t discover it sooner.

Larry Hagner has clearly put a lot of time and thought into creating this Podcast and it is delivered in an extremely well executed manner. He has been able to bring the audience very tough topics that for many men would find incredibly tough and uncomfortable to talk about, never mind with the added pressure and responsibility men feel as Dads in today’s society.

There is a great level of comfort in the discussions between Larry and the weekly guest speakers, which makes you feel like you are sitting in the room engaged in the conversation with them. The podcast breaks down the walls and barriers that we as men build up around ourselves to ‘protect our ego’ and Larry does this so well that you don’t even realize that it is happening.

You no longer have to feel so alone in the challenges of being a father. The added value of the Dad Edge closed Facebook Group, where you can connect with so many other guys who are walking or have walked the same journey you are walking, is just phenomenal.

I am so thankful I have found this podcast.

The Good Dad Project is my favourite podcast in the world bar none. Larry and Shawn have not only created a podcast. They are creating a movement that is helping men around the world up their dad game. They are extending their hearts and hands to anyone willing to accept it. They are there waiting for you. All you have to do to start your journey is take the time to listen. You'll be so much better for it.

Their guests are of the highest caliber and talk about every aspect of fathering you can imagine and then some. The one thing they all share in common is that what they share is real, authentic and unfiltered. Nothing else is good enough. These guys are the Dynamic Duo of fatherhood. I'll let them duke it out to decide who's Batman and who's Robin.

The Dad Edge Facebook group has 1500 fathers in it working together to support each other. It's 1500 right now. By next week who knows because it's spreading like wildfire. As it should. Check out the group and let's lift each other up to new heights. Together.

Just wanted to send out a quick thank you for the podcast. I just found it the other day and one of the first episodes I dialed up was with Jeff Spencer. I was blown away with his vulnerability, amazing story of overcoming challenges, and great wisdom. Shawn and Larry are both genuinely nice guys and great role models for being a dad. As a father and husband raised in a chaotic family mired in violence, alcoholism, and abuse, I’ve made a commitment to being a good dad and loving husband. I had to redefine what it was to be a good dad and husband as my role models didn’t exhibit behaviours I aspired to. I knew very early in life I would have to define my own path and learn how to a better man. This podcast helps me reinforce those values and inspires me to keep learning on this wonderful journey called fatherhood. I’m grateful for having discovered this podcast. Thank you Larry and Shawn!
