For a long time I felt lost and had so many questions pertaining to classroom management and how best to engage students while still trying to keep things current yet practical. This is simply one of the best resources that I have come across as a teacher period. If only I had this podcast when I was in university! Jennifer's discussions and insights are beyong helpful when it comes to getting to the root of a resource, issue, strategy and/or trend. I have just discovered The Cult of Pedagogy Podcast and I'm addicted. I have listened to about 20 episodes in the last two days and I can't wait to hear more. There are lots of takeaways that you can easily and immediately use in your classroom. It has been rewarding to know that I am already doing a lot of the suggestions the podcast. It makes me feel like I am on the right track. Then there are other ideas that are true lightbulb moments. Thank you, Jennifer, for everything that you do to help improve our education system.

I have been listening hungrily to Cult of Pedagogy for the last 4 weeks and it has motivated me to continually up my best practice. There is always at least one nugget I can apply straight away and others that I make notes on to use in the future from each podcast I listen to. I so appreciate the effort you put into presenting evidence-based practices with a balanced viewpoint. I am surrounded by colleagues and administration who care very little about best practices, and this podcast has made me feel so much less isolated in my teaching practice. Almost every week I am trying something new in the classroom because of your podcast (which I listen to first thing on my morning walk). The kids respond to it, and in turn I am loving my job despite all the politics outside the classroom. I think you mentioned at one point that Catlin Tucker would be on, and I love her work, so I'm looking forward to that one! Thank you so much and keep up the great work.

This podcast is a goldmine! As a pre-service teacher I really appreciate the wide variety of accessible and useful information. The topics cover useful and practical solutions that go hand in hand with pedagogical ideals. Definitely recommend 🙂

Now that’s a pretty big statement and I don’t use it lightly. Full disclosure- I have not actually listened to the internet’s full library of educational podcasts. But I don’t need to- Jennifer somehow finds the most current, relevant topics and presents them in a practical way. I have learned so much from her blog- and now I am making her podcasts my priority. My advice to any teacher, new or seasoned: If you could only listen to/follow 1 person- it should be @cultofpedagogy

As a pre-service teacher, I am always looking for that cherry on top of my current class readings and new pedagogical learning. Cult of Pedagogy is just that! I find the podcast relevant and great to link to classes I am currently taking. Although it is American centric (Canadian Here) many of the issues of educational reform, inclusiveness and positivist-based education is just as relevant in Canada. I would love to see some Canadian professionals interviewed on current topics such as Aboriginal Reconciliation in the classroom and the rise of attacking curriculum for changing to suit the needs of a more diverse community.

There are many great educational podcasts out there but none with the professional production and blog-post linkages as Cult of Pedagogy.

This podcast has been saving my life for the past eight weeks. This has been a tricky school year so far, but I have drawn encouragement and inspiration from the episodes. My favorites so far: Teacher Nostalgia and notetaking. I cannot thank you enough and I am telling everyone I know about your podcast.

How nice to hear a teacher talk to me about the nuts and bolts of education. Listening to "The Cult of Pedagogy" helps to keep my siprits encouraged and breathes life into my own classroom practices when they seem old. Finding the time to examine and implement many of the ideas is the biggest hurdle as all of the ideas are so good!

I just finished listening to episode 67: “ what to do on lame duck days” and I was unbelievably thankful for all your resources you shared in that podcast! I have so many new ideas for next week. You are doing an awesome job and really helping teachers!! Keep doing what you are doing in changing the world!

As a new teacher, it's easy to get bogged down with the sheer volume of teaching resources and information. I started following JG's blog because I always found the topics to be just what I needed. Now I feel like I've struck gold with her podcast! Her guests are innovators and teachers who share and inspire my own passion for life long learning which helps improve my learning space and pedagogy.

Even if you can't do everything in all the podcasts of the Cult of Pedagogy, you can find something helpful, or something encouraging, or just be re-energized for teaching with her positive, down to earth information. I listen as I get ready for work in the morning, and then am often eager to go to the related blog and see more, or share it with other teachers, etc. Some topics don't relate to the Canadian education system, but, as I said, they are all still upbuilding and encouraging.

I find sometimes that what passes as good ppd is often one charismatic person promoting their way - which isn’t so useful to others. This was a really straightforward approach and easy to implement approach to teaching writing.

I love Jennifer’s pod and how she includes thoughtful, relevant, and important themes in her shows. It’s one of the best, most convenient ways that I have found to step up my game as a teacher!

Cult of pedagogy is a must listen for any educator! Jennifer addresses topics applicable to all teachers in manageable chunks. No PD has ever instigated so many tiny but impactful changes in my practice! Her advice is honest, insightful and innovative without being fussy or unattainable. Jennifer Gonzalez does an incredible job of targeting real classroom problems and then inviting guests to discuss real solutions to these problems. Ideas are insightful and inspiring. The podcasts are a good length to listen to on the way to school and give great tips on how to start implementing strategies or ideas the next day. Cannot recommend this podcast highly enough!

I have listened to countless podcasts over the years and never felt the need to write a review. Until now. Cult of Pedagogy is exactly what every teacher needs. Jennifer discusses, dissects, and thoroughly explains useful, use-tomorrow-in-your-classroom concepts.

I absolutely love Jennifer's podcast. It's helpful, intelligent and focused. Also, her the timbre of her voice is lovely! As an aside, I've been teaching for 22 years and I always find something new to try or think about in every episode.

Jennifer's podcasts provide easy-to-use strategies for any classroom. Her podcasts are one of the only ones I listen to consistently.

As a teacher and Principal at a small private school, I need to provide an education for my students that is full, meaningful and better than what they can receive at their local public school or other private schools in the area. The Cult Of Pedagogy podcasts have given myself and the staff new insight, ideas, tools and excitement to change our curriculum and approach to teaching. I listen to this podcast in the car and then look at the transcript when I arrive at school to jot down all the links and resources included. This podcast is excellent and if you want to change your teaching, find new tools or just become inspired I highly recommend it.

If you are a teachera nd have any interest in edtech then this podcast is a must-have for you. Subscribe and you will not regret it. Highly recommended for all levels of the tech in you.

These podcasts feature talks on topics related to the art of teaching. Not the content. The practices. It’s great to be able to listen to someone on ideas related to what I LOVE to do: teach.

As I novice teacher, I thought the "Cult of Pedagogy" would be intimidating and jargon-filled, but to the contrary, Jennifer's professional but down-to-earth podcasts are well worth listening to. If you wish you could fit more professional development into your busy schedule, try listening to these podcasts as you drive or walk your dog or whatever. The focus is mostly on K to 12 but ESL teachers (like me) can find much of value, including lots of good ideas, book recommendations and encouragement.

The title says it. The information is helpful, it is timely and clear. Excellent job.

Jennifer does a fantastic job picking her areas of focus for the podcast, and always brings an idea to the forefront that affects my teaching that very week. Her interviews are well-paced and insightful, and a great launching pad for bigger ideas.
