I'm a recent listener of the podcast but I absolutly love them! Every episode is thoughtful and leaves the listener with true insights into why they may be acting a certain way or thinking a certain thing. Unlike other content providers that look at personalities, they don't put a negative light on the weaknesses of personality types, but they don't coddle the listener either. Instead they present their information in a safe space so that the listener feels comfortable in opening up and reflecting on some of the harder truths about who they are. I would definitly recommend this podcast to anyone who is naturally criticaly of themselves because this podcast has the knack of asking us to self-reflect, but without judgement or critisism.

I’ve been listening to PH on and off for about 4 years. Figured it’s about time I leave a review lol. If you have even the slightest interest in the psychology of personality, why people act certain ways or what really makes them tick, you’ll love this podcast. Joel and Antonia cover a wide range of topics related to Myers-Briggs and other personality typology systems like the Enneagram and the Graves Model to reveal the inner workings of our different minds and hearts. I studied psychology in university and have always been incredibly interested in the “why” aspect of life, so it’s all right up my alley.
Joel and Antonia have a way of making even the densest of content very accessible. They’re big on analogies, metaphors and stories from their own lives to illustrate complex ideas, which I absolutely love as an auditory/visual learner. Also, they’re hilarious. I would love to hang out with them over a beer and just chat personality for a day. They’re both ENxPs like me so we’d have a lot in common. I’m dealing with some stuff in my life right now that I find it hard to talk to anyone about, even those closest to me. Having this podcast feels like having a couple of friends I can turn to who’ll give me sage, no-BS advice to help guide me through.
I love and admire the work they’re doing in creating a movement of like-minded people working towards personal fulfillment and collective enlightenment. If that sounds too hippy dippy to you, you haven’t discovered how cool it is yet. I encourage you to jump in with both feet. You won’t regret it, I promise.

This podcast will help you. Seriously.

Personality Hacker is a warm hug to the unhealed or misunderstood parts of ourselves, but it is also a coach of tough love. Each time I listen to a podcast, I am absolutely blown away by Joel and Antonia’s ability to understand and clearly articulate complex inner and outer challenges that we humans go through, but—and here is the brilliance of it— do not go through in the same way. You will be offered tons of practical and unexpected advice and tools that are catered to your personality type in an incredibly intimate way. It’s also funny and deep and theoretical.

PH is by far my favourite podcast. Every episode I’ve listened to - and I’ve listened to almost every single one - has taught me something about myself and/or others and helped me to be a better person and live a better life. The topics are well chosen and the discussions are thought provoking. Thanks, Antonia and Joel! I hope your tours bring you up to Montreal some day.

Way better than I thought it would be!

This is absolutely my favourite podcast. I'm a successful, clean cut kind of person and when I saw this pair of hippies I figured, they're going to be talking about patchouli, getting high and chakras. Not at all. The podcasts always, always give me something I can really explore and use in my own life, and a few have been even life-changing. Exploring various personality models but also more general topics like, Why are so many of us scared of success and what can we do to push through.

Love this podcast!

Joel and Antonia display courtesy and respect for each others’ input and communicate to their listeners so effectively. I sure love that! They are honestly making this a better world for me and my whole family (hubby & 4 kids) by teaching us how to “get” each other and to navigate well along the complex little journeys in our lives. We have fun discovering similar and opposite traits we seem to have. We can have each other’s backs so much better knowing how each other is wired. I admit, it took me a long time to get the code words down and now...I am def a “type geek”. Thanks guys!! RB (& fam)

Absolute gold!

Every episode leaves me with so much to take away and apply to my life. I’ve learned a ton about my own personality type and how my brain is wired, thus I’ve been discovering how I can grow in the most efficient and powerful ways as an individual and how I can apply this growth to my relationships, career and lifestyle.

I am really enjoying this podcast. I’ve been focusing on the “deep dives” into the personality types, and so far have listened to ENFJ, ENTJ, and ISTP. ISFJ is up next for me. I like the way that these two speakers talk about the different functions, in two ways. First, the car model is a nice way of making sense of how the functions work together, and second, I like the labels they give each of the functions. I seem to respond really well to how this is presented and it makes it easier to follow what they’re saying (as opposed to always using terms like “introverted sensing” etc., where I have to stop on my own to remind myself what that means in order to follow the discussion). Something I think is really neat is how well Antonia and Joel complement each other as they’re speaking. I don’t know if they script this, but they have a clear goal that they’re moving towards, and they do it together very well without contradiction or an excessive amount of derailing (just enough to make it interesting). Looking forward to the other podcasts!

I'm enjoying this podcast very much recently and wanted to leave a positive review. There is a huge amount of information here on all topics of personal development and tailored towards what will have the most impact for you based on your MBTI type. I have read a lot of resources on MBTI and this is the first treatment where I feel like they are drilling down to all the nuances of my type and giving me actionable information rather than repeating the same old stereotypes (I'm an INTJ).

Love it!

Joel and Antonia speak about personality type psychology in a way that is consistently accessible and applicable in everyday life. In addition to ensuring you understand basic underlying theories in a way that isn't nauseatingly boring, they provide plenty of examples you might run into in everyday life. Learning about personality types with Personality Hacker truly feels like peeking behind the curtain and watching how the machinery works in your mind, and others.

Really appreciate the breadth and depth that Antonia and Joel pour into this podcast. Not only have they injected insights into my understanding of the cognitive functions/Myers Briggs, they've also expanded my horizons to include chakras, cutting cords of attachment and attachment theory. Learning about the last one was life-changing.

Personality hacker podcasts are always insightful each and every single time. The whole system has taught me so if acceptance and appreciation of others unique behavioural patterns. If these two elements are mastered I think there will be less conflicts in relationships. Backed by Myers-Briggs science each podcast, brings logic and emotions into harmonious chemistry. Antonia and Joel rocks.

Thank you :)

I absolutely love this podcast, especially the episodes dedicated to the Myers-Briggs personality types. Both Antonia and Joel describe the cognitive functions in a way that is not only deeply insightful, but also easy to understand and remember. You've been a great help for me, since I’m still trying to get a better grasp of the theory and its nuances. Keep up the amazing, informative and engaging content!

Personality Hacker has truly created something amazing with the car model. They have taken what you need to know about cognitive functions and made an easy to understand car model. They have taken a step further and focused on self improvement based on each cognitive function stack. This has been the only self improvement strategy that I have been able to stick with because it feels so personalized.

This podcast is hosted by two fantastic Myers Briggs personality typing system experts. They delve into a wide range of interesting topics and have introduced me to several thought provoking systems and concepts. I love it when they bring that concept around and relate it back to the cognitive functions, I can’t get enough! Their take on things as a thinker female and feeler male isn’t always what you would expect and has helped me understand thinkers and feelers on a deeper level. Love it!

I thought I had learned everything there was about my type in the Meyer Briggs system these guys really bring a new informative approach to the system.
Through their use of the driving system it is really easy to recognize your strengths and areas you may need to work on. I thought I had learned everything there was about my type in the Meyer Briggs system but these guys made it easy to understand and helped me put the MB system to real use. Thanks!

My 2 favourite aspects of the Personality Hacker podcast are that they’re a) always interesting/super engaging, and that b) I always learn something! I’ve been a personality type junkie for years, and everything I’m learning is thought-provoking and applicable to my life and relationships. Soooo much better than watching tv! :-)

I am very happy I stumbled onto this podcast. The information that you guys provide and the way you present your knowledge is fantastic. I knew I was interested in learning more about personalities (which is how I found this podcast) and how it relates to us as individuals and affects those around us, but you have increased that interest, and provide me with that way of learning properly. Thank you.

I've had a lifelong appreciation for psychology and personality theory. I love deep dives and exploring the wonderful variety of mentors and systems out there. I return time and again to Personality Hackers as they continue to surprise me with their ever-evolving and highly-nuanced insights. They always manage to explore and share some juicy new facet which had never occurred to me (which really ignites my Perspectives driver :) ). I really dig their accessible style. There's something about the friendly way they present the material that makes it feel more like a dialogue and not just a "sage on a stage" broadcast. Not only is it a lot of fun to experience, but I end up grasping and retaining so much more as a result. It's by no means all abstract theory; the practical tips and exercises they share on how to best develop strengths and live harmoniously with blind spots pack some serious punch, too.

Your podcast is very interesting and I love the different topics that you speak about. I am a college student studying social work with a background in recreation. After returning to college after a 3 year abstinence my confidence was low and I felt my brain was working against me. I feel that I have gained amazing knowledge about myself and that you put information that is down to earth. Paraphrasing when you said to take information that is useful to you and not use the information that isn’t beneficial, I just want to thank you guys and to let you know I appreciate the hard work you put into making your podcast. I am at great place in my life right now and look forward to the great things to come. Happy holidays I will continue listening to your podcast and feel great while I do.
