Listening to Ali and Graham go through the English and Scottish Monarchs has been wonderful. The two provide a wonderful examination of the various periods of history while entertaining their listeners with amusing banter about some of the most odd topics.

Rex Factor is easily one of our favourite podcasts, and the very inspiration for our own show. Graham and Ali have perfect comedic timing, extremely well researched presentation, and a format that makes for the most fun listening. Rex Factor was one of the first podcasts I'd ever listened to, and years later, 100's of podcasts later, it is still easily takes top place, alongside Totalus Rankium, which was also inspired by Rex Factor.

Now that we are part of the Rexy Pod unofficial family, we finally have an iTunes account to leave our praise and love of this amazing show! If you arent listening to Rex Factor right now, you need to stop what you are doing, and begin! Right now!

I have enjoyed every episode of this podcast. I know that I'm learning and retaining information about English and Scottish monarchs, as I'm able to converse with others about the episodes. However, it always seems more entertaining than educational. I chalk that up to Graham and Ally's style of presentation as well as the obvious chemistry between the two of them. Great job and I hope that it continues on past the end of the Scottish monarchs

I stumbled on the Rex Factor lads in searching for a podcast on Charles II. Fell in love with the 'cast then and have eagerly listened to all their 'casts on English and almost all their ones on Soottish monarchs––still catching up on them, och!––since. Solid enjoyment and learning at once. You go, Graham and Ali!

This is my favorite history podcast because its helps you learn about monarchs, and the hosts are very likeable. Makes me feel like i'm just speaking with friends.

This podcast has the perfect mix of being both entertaining and enlightening. Has helped in many a boring commute to work and school - although one has to be careful not to laugh out loud while on public transit! Despite being a history nerd I always learn at least on “rex fact” every episode, especially now that they are well into the Scottish monarchs. Even my husband who does not share my enthusiasm for British history enjoys listening to this while we are on road trips. I recommend this to anyone with even a passing interest, it’s very accessible!

Truly entertaining! I love British history and I've been trying to find a podcast that isn't just a recorded lecture. I love the conversation, discussion and banter. It keeps me engaged and I find myself laughing along. I thoroughly enjoyed learning about the Anglo-Saxons and I can't wait to start season 2. Please continue to do this! I'd love to learn about the French monarchy or the Russian tsars from you guys!

Absolutely loving this podcast, gone through all the episodes in two weeks. I hope they continue with France, Russia, etc!

I came late to this podcast but as soon as I found it I couldn't shut it off. Graham and Ali are so brilliantly charming, equal parts funny and informative and unlike so many academic podcasts they are so relatable. I sincerely hope they continue to rate things until there's nothing left to rate.

It's so rare to find a podcast that covers familiar topics in such a refreshingly creative way. So funny, laid-back, unpretentious yet full of brilliant information. Listening to this podcast is like hanging out with a couple of friends (the two presenters are amazing).

I have listened to all the episodes at least 3 times and they still haven't gotten stale. Rating the kings and queens of England on battle-y-ness, scandal,, longevity, and dynasty before determining if they have the Rex Factor is the most entertaining approach to history I have encountered in a long time.

Now that they are getting close to Queen Elizabeth II, I can only hope that they find a new topic to keep podcasting on. Pope Idol anyone?

I discovered the Rex Factor mid April and promptly proceeded to listen to all of the episodes, basically back to back, finishing them off in under a month. I am eagerly awaiting George III.

Ally and Graham are the perfect mix of history and humor. For those interested in learning more about English history, I cannot recommend this podcast enough.
