Description

Radio broadcaster and parapsychologist Dr. Malcolm Ryder helps callers with their supernatural problems. He also delves into the dark and strange history of America. Callers are haunted by mysterious black doors, see ancient beings in their paisley wallpaper, have terrifying creatures appear in their cars on dark and lonely roads. In the history segment of our show, Ryder tells of the pyramid made of flesh in Palta, Arizona that appeared one morning, of how the Mississippi River is a sleeping leviathan, and of the last known sighting of the dark dealmaker, The Traveling Salesman.

This podcast is excellent! The voice acting is superb, as is the writing. I’ve been searching for a new podcast since The Magnus Archive is in its final season, and this podcast completely fits the bill! The line between reality and the supernatural is nicely blurred making for a creepy experience, sometimes best saved for the light of day. So darn good. I really hope this series continues.

Great voice acting and storytelling

The voice acting is really great. I’ve found that sometimes podcasts don’t hit a believable or interesting balance between distance from the story they’re telling and immediacy to inspire emotion, but A Voice from Darkness really does it for me.
It’s really creative, and I love the world building with the weird stories of America.
Can’t wait to see what happens
