I first heard about Monica about 5-6 years through the MOB Society (now called A Thousand Praying Moms). I am so thankful she started sharing her knowledge and wisdom in a podcast! With homeschooling 4 boys 2-8 I can still soak up all Monica’s wisdom while I wash dishes or fold laundry! I have been so encouraged by her book Boy Mom and the podcast! I love love love all her words of wisdom and her insights into boys! It has encouraged my heart so much! At times I feel like I’m never getting through to my boys but with Monica’s weekly encouragement I know it will come with age and maturity! I get excited about parenting as I listen and learn from Monica! I love how she is always pointing us back to the Word of God and reminding me to rely on Him for strength and to be teaching God’s word to my boys!! Love all her practical advice and all the friends she brings onto the podcast! I have been recommending The Boy Mom podcast to all my friends and family! Love it so much! I came across The Boy Mom podcast a couple of weeks ago and I have listened to all the episodes since. As a mom to three young boys and a baby girl I appreciate Monica’s insight, encouragement, Christ centred parenting, and her lighthearted way.

Monica is such a down-to-earth and real mom of boys. She GETS it. I’ve been reading her blog for a few years and her podcast is very similar. It’s what all us boy moms need to hear. Brings us out of the everyday grind of raising boys and reminds us to look at the big picture, what kind of boys do we want to help shape and what kind of relationship do we want to have with them. Having faith at the forefront keeps us on track. Thank you Monica!
