Traveling across America you may see a hand-painted sign featuring one word. If you are lucky, you will continue on wondering if something that old can refer to a thing that still exists. Unfortunately it does. You are following a sign that reads "Zoo"
The writing isn’t bad and the story is engaging enough. The attempts at humour fall flat and the delivery sounds like high school drama students reading a script. Still listening so I guess not having given up means the positive outweighs the negative on this one for me at least. Worth a listen.

Zoo is a fantastic podcast for fans of Stranger things, X files, or welcome to Night vale. A wonderful synthy soundtrack adds to every story read by Mckayla Protagonist, and the writing is tight but with enough detail to be a joy to listen to. I love it! Thanks Zoo Team!

As if Welcome to Nightvale and Serial had a love child, Zoo is an imaginative and thrilling blend of horror, mystery, and fantasy. The premise is creative, the characters are intriguing, and the storytelling is riveting. I cannot recommend this enough!

First - obligatory 'Great and Unholy Devourer of Podcasts and related media... but first time reviewer'. There, out of the way.
Second - If you are a fan of horror and storytelling, stop everything and throw yourself wholly and fully into this podcast, just like the creators clearly have. We've lost the great art of audio drama in the past 15-20 years, and it's so great to see creative minds get back to the core of what it means to work with audio as storytelling. And they -nail- it. Perfect creative use of audio in the modern age, a good sense of drawing out intrigue over the course of listening, and the way that the episodes have changed and evolved as the picture becomes more clear... I love it. I binged the first half of the current offering yesterday, and have a long drive ahead of me today - I can't wait to catch up!!
PS - your podcast description is absolutely perfect, and it really added to my experience with as it draws interest without spoiling anything, which really enhanced my listening experience; particularly in the first 4-5 episodes.

This podcast is well worth listening to! It’s not the most sophisticated thing out there, which may be why people gave it lower numbers of stars. But, this is still really well done and very entertaining. It’s a great story in the vein of Rabbits, TANIS and the X-files

Pleasently surprised by this podcast! It has a similar feel to 'The Box' where you hear about a number of mysterious supernatural cases.
Looking forward to the second season!

I just listened to the first two episodes and I was completely engrossed. Seriously, this show's got everything. Cryptids, mysterious signs, murders, sassy narrators. I find the mystery very compelling and can't wait to see where they take it.
