Don’t listen to the naysayers on here. We don’t like what we need to hear.
Just because she has a “religious” backbone, doesn’t mean that she doesn’t know what she’s talking about. She has had many guests on here that have a lot of experience in the variety of issues that we all deal with.
Science is always changing and it’s all theories, essentially. I’m glad she doesn’t use Science as the backbone of her messages on parenting because parenting isn’t a “Science”. Instead, she uses time tested strategies combined with her education and it provides hope and confidence to the parents of today.
If children who are raised with a supportive home environment (which INCLUDES a moral and spiritual aspect) do well in life, we need to take heed and be open to these messages.
Keep doing what you do and teach us what you know and have learned.

A Dr who is too focused on religion and not the latest up to date science. Misinformation at times that has been disproven. Not impressed that she uses her Dr. degree to spread this misinformation that she has obviously not researched.

I find this podcast has good info but it’s very religious based. Also not super great at answering questions by email - she must be too busy as a Dr and podcaster.

Great Advice!

It’s a bit too religious for me at times but if you can get past that it’s actually great information.

I have listened to this podcast for a while and have found them to be very helpful and enjoyable, however I’m pretty disappointed by the last podcast I listened to.
The podcast #53 she covers content that is extremely triggering of those who have suffer sexual assault. There was no discretion when covering the topic, warnings, or professionalism when bringing up the topic- she just went right on to read the whole question with all its details. This just shows the lack of respect and understanding those in the medical profession have for assault victims once again. I am now struggling through flash backs and panic attacks.
Thankfully I was listening to this with ear buds and not on full volume in my kitchen like I normally do with children around.

Both Meg Meeker and her guests are inspiring. I have been a widow for five years and am a mother of a 10, 8, and 6 year old and truly appreciate the common sense approach to parenting and the family values discussed in each podcast.

Very good podcast for all parents

I am a father of two girls and I find Dr. Meg very helpful. Perhaps the podcast is a little too religious at times for my liking, but it’s fine.

Brilliant intro Dr. Meeker, as a mother of a grown son and grandmother of a 5 yr old little girl, I know the world needs what you have to say!
