Listening to Archive 81 is like driving through a mountain tunnel at midnight, in search of a hitchhiker who you can feed to the carburetor and run the engine cuz if you stop the road will turn to seawater and you’ll sink. And all of this while simultaneously recording the sound of your passenger eating Popeyes chicken.
Thank you for creating a stellar immortal storyline. Peace, love, and tapes.

LOVE!

Since the second season it has really shone, taking what was already an intriguing mystery in a fascinating frame and inverting it, going from the observer of intense moments of a crumbling reality to being inside the twisted universe(s) as it dissolves into surreality.
Start at the beginning, so the scenario makes sense at the point where the universe stops being normal at all.

Too creepy for me but a solid podcast, definitely give it a listen.

This is a really well written and produced podcast. I made it through the first season and I want to keep going but I'm just a little to creeped out so you should probably go finish it for me.

Great podcast!

It took me a little bit to get into this show, but once I did, it was a blast. Very creepy and atmospheric, well-produced quality, and even some light-hearted fun thrown in (at least towards the beginning). I love the found-footage (or rather, found-audio) feel.
Season 2: A completely different feel than the first season in terms of style, but once you get a feel for the world, it’s just beyond great listening. The original music was incredible, the strangeness and scariness of the world was tangible, and I cannot wait to see both the next season and all Dead Signals projects to come. Thank you guys for sharing your art!! Loving it!

The characters are endearing and the story is more intriguing with every episode. The writing is subtle and the production is on point. Archive 81 is the podcast I most look forward to new episodes of

Season 1 was creepy and mysterious- right up my alley. Season 2 is... I don't know what it is. It has taken a turn towards some sort of quirky "creepy" humour. Not a fan of the new episodes.

Love the second season

The first season of this podcast is EXCELLLENT. I was a bit thrown by the second season, but I am loving it even more now. This podcast reminds me a bit of Welcome to Nightvale, but is totally its own beast and a really fun listen. I cannot wait to learn more as this season unfolds.

This podcast has the makings of something really cool. The variety of the recordings keeps things fresh and intriguing, and the story seems to be unfolding at a nice pace. Though honestly I could just keep listening to weird and creepy recordings at random and be happy, there's some really neat stuff there. I especially enjoyed the SCP-flavored section of the exhibit recording.

Great Production

This mysterious story has me hooked! I'm concerned for Dan, the main character, as his reactions are similar to my own.
My only issue, a small one, is some of the voice acting could use some direction. The woman who voices Melody sounds like she's reading right off a page... there's no emoting.
However, this does not take away from the story. Do give this a listen!

Just on point

I am so exited to find out what happens next. There is already one character who I have my eye... Or in this case ear on. Another podcast to add to the lists of ones I have.
