Maya Banks writes about kickass men and women in her KGI series, but she is a kickass writer. I can't wait for the next one! Absolutely awesome books.

After the storm
I couldn't wait to buy this book because of the other books I read in the series, which I thought were great! I wouldn't waste your money on this book. Actually I think the author should rewrite this book, I hope the next book in this series isn't as terrible as this one. This book fell short in character development, writing, suspense, and storyline. It lacked in every way a book should be great. I read the book to the end but it was only because I was already committed to reading it. This was a huge disappointment and its too bad you can't return it! I think there should have more attention to creation of the story and characters as opposed to "pumping" out another book in the series. It's like the author was bored or not interested.

Fast paced
Maya Banks invites you again into the KGI world. While not as full of around the world adventure as the other books in the series it is still a fast paced ride. A book with love at first sight, danger and heart it brings to the forefront what the series is truly about which is family. An enjoyable read and with a secret plot twist that makes you want the next book NOW!
