I enjoyed this book for the most part but the decisions and “relationship” between two of the characters in particular just consistently made no sense and left me confused and frustrated! Not to mention the main characters “parents” 🙄 i give it three stars because of the compelling plot and i kept reading to find out the secrets but only a few are actually answered before the book ends. I actually contemplated giving it two stars or less.

I thought I might not like this book but I did. It was a little on the romance novel side but whatever. I enjoyed that for once we got to see the perspective of the male lead. The new take on sorcery was different and I enjoyed it. The characters were built really well. The building of suspense was fantastic as well.
