Description

"My child, thou shalt remember, day and night, him who speaks the word of God to thee, and thou shalt honor him as the Lord, for where the Lord's nature is spoken of, there is he present."
The Didache or "Teaching" is an early Christian manual that is dated around the early-2nd century by most scholars. Though the author of this work is not known, it assumes apostolic authority and considers itself to be the "Teaching of the Twelve." It is widely considered as the first Book of Church Order, of sorts.
This electronic edition contains the English and Greek texts, and hyperlinks to enable the fast comparative reading of both languages. The text is based on the Loeb Classical Library edition (1913), and features an active table of contents.
Didache is part of The Fig Classic Series on Early Church Theology. To view more books in our catalog, visit us at fig-books.com.
