Emulating the master

This book is an intimate conversation with Stephen King about how he writes. It is jammed with useful advice on how to avoid writing a boring novel. King admonishes the budding novelist to read and write profusely, as hard work is the only path to success. I have used this handbook to in my grade 12 English Literature class - it keeps us grounded. It is easy to both read and understand and could also be used for a junior level class.
