This book is dedicated to pastors. The Lord told Jeremiah, "And I will give you pastors according to mine heart, which shall feed you with knowledge and understanding." (Jeremiah 3:15) The ministry of a pastor is one of the positions in the five-fold ministry found in Ephesians 4:11. The role of a pastor is more important and expansive than many people realize. A pastor must move God's people from where they are to where God wants them to be. A pastor must ensure he is following the will of God for the people he is called to serve-not pursing his own agenda. A pastor will one day give account to God for how he led God's people.
