I really enjoy reading Cherise Sinclair’s books. She’s a good writer and her characters are clearly her own. Cherise does an excellent job of writing erotic scenes, however, I found this book was tipping over the point of two consenting adults engaging in sexual activities. This book made me uncomfortable, as the only consent the main girl could give was under pressured/traumatic circumstances. Trying to hide this fact by writing in some orgasms for the character and creating a man who feels remorseful does not mitigate that it is still happening.
