This app was amazing but version 2.08 keeps crashing
Was working 100% with version 2.07 but 2.08 keeps crashing. My iPad runs on iOS 9.3.5. I have purchased John's notes but no longer have access to the app. Please help!!

Great app! There is room for improvements though
It’s a great study resource. I would appreciate it if it has some basic note taking features such as highlighting, copy and paste, etc.

Keeps crashing
Great to have John’s notes while reading but the app keeps crashing and scrolling to either the end or the beginning of the bible. Is there any fix?

More Highlighters and markup tools
I love this Bible! I love how you can remove verse numbers and footnotes! However, I would like it if there were more highlighter colours than just yellow. I highlight in my other bible apps every prophecy and every fulfilled prophecy, both in different colours. However, I can’t do that in this app because I don’t have different colours to differentiate them. Please add new highlighter colours and other markup tools.

Daily Bible Readings
I find it very frustrating that in the Daily Bible Readings section that there is no direct link from the scripture verses to the actual scriptures. This is very counter intuitive and I’m surprised this was missed.
It doesn’t make sense to go back and forth from the scripture references to the actual bible and then back again to the scripture reference and then repeat two to three more times. The scripture references should just link to the scripture with a forward button to the next scripture to read.
Or
You can just layout all the scriptures in order on one page so users can just read it all at once.

Very helpful
I have looked at many bible apps a lot are good, but for me this one has been more helpful. It gives me a daily reminder for daily devotional, I am able to highlight different text in various colours, it reads the word to me when I am unable, and of course we get the amazing insights to scripture helping to understand from Mr John MacArthur.

Can’t create account
Not sure why I can’t create an account. Tried so many times.

No ability to look up scripture from devotions.
Most recent update and they still refuse to implement links to scripture from the devotional despite sending assurances they were going to do so.
I love the JM Study Bible and will continue to use my paper version and my other apps that link to scripture. C’mon guys, this is not hard to do!

Great app.
I had just purchased the JM study bible ( a real bible), then I downloaded this app and it's a word for word translation with the notes. Easy to learn and navigate through the book. You can save notes,pages, they have sermons to listen to, topics on today's issues as Christians, lots of stuff! I highly recommend this app for anybody who spends time away from there bible.

I'm sure this app would be great if it would load. I fill everything out to "create an account", press "submit" and watch "checking server stat..." For twenty minutes.
I've tried from home, local coffee shop's free wifi & from my phone not using any wifi.
Good thing I have a couple of other Bibles on my phone so I still read God's word everyday. No problem with GTY Sermons :-)

At my finger tips, I found:
maps, audio and videos sermons,chapter introductions. There are bookmarks that can be sorted not only by book but also by date. Also a really neat bold yellow verse highlighter that not only underlines the verses, but gives you Dr. MacArthur's clear exposition.
I love my MacArthur NKJ study bible, and am now able, with this app, to delve deeper; by having it and the ESV. They now have added an NASB version. Giving me the option to read myself or have the text read to me.
I have all the tools in this amazing app.

Locks up when trying to create id
I can't create an id. Bible functionality looks great but I'm most looking forward to getting and using John's Notes. (I purchased MacArthur study bible as an ebook but its navigation is a bit cumbersome when moving between scripture and study notes. -> hoping this app resolves that!) Please fix !!

Unable to access my In-Purchase
I'm thinking this app and the in-app purchase still needs a bit of tweaking. I have bought the in-app purchase to access "John's Notes" but when I try to access it on another device, I can't Restore My Purchase because it keeps telling me I need to be signed in with my account. I have been signed in. I have done everything according to the instructions, and I still get access it. :-(
The overall bible part is just "ok" too. Sadly after spending a little bit of money for something I can't use, I will have to remove this app and just use my Olive Tree one.

Hard on the eyes
Pastor MacArthur's notes are excellent but because of the white type on blue background, it is so hard to read. Its pretty but not functional. The notes became useless for me because aside from the color scheme, it is only accessible with internet connection. I have stopped using this bible app.

Need larger Font
There are 3 font sizes available but even the largest font is too small and you cannot stretch or expand the page. I suggest add an extra large font size or make the app stretchable. John's notes are even smaller font which is disappointing as I enjoy reading the notes along side of the Bible, it really helps with studying. Other then that, it's a great app.
