After last update i am not able to use this app fluently. Highlights and word search options are glitching up and down!!!! You have made this app worse and now i am losing my interest in this app. Learn some features from kindle. User friendly app.

The app always skips back to the start of the chapter when I’m reading. Multiple times I have to move it forwards again. It’s so disruptive I can hardly read my textbooks. The app won’t let me highlight things either, thus I can’t copy and paste either. Can’t believe I wasted so much money on books I can’t even use.

I only Realized now that Texidium uses data, which is very unacceptable. so it is useless reading while i am at a no wifi zone work area. Why even come up with this deplorable app? Geez.

When I’m reading the book and decide to switch apps, the app goes back to the beginning of the chapter. It is frustrating especially if I am jotting notes onto a different app. Please fix this.

I have used both kobo and iBook; this cannot compare. I wanted to pull my hair out I was so frustrated. Highlighting sucks, it keeps kicking me back to the first page, so I have to go find and remember what page I was on, and it freezes!! Needs major work!

It works on my laptop but when I try to use my iPad Pro to read my textbooks it only shows a couple of lines or pictures, or a single page from the chapter and that’s it. Unusable

this sucks and its too bad cus I just got it for the iPad so I don’t have to read on my computer anymore. Somehow the book constantly gets redirected to the beginning of the chapter I was reading so it’s a pain to have to find the page I was on. Highlighting doesn’t work a lot of the times. I feel as though dealing with this is app is a huge waste of study time. Now let me go find that page I was on for the 17th time

I don’t understand the bad critics, because the app works perfectly fine on my ipad. I can read my school book while offline which saves me a great amount of time and allows me not to be forced to log in into my school portal to retrieve the book.

I used this app when I bought a textbook online to save some money. This is probably one of the worst book readers, I’ve used many others as I’m trying to save money and using online books is much cheaper. Bookshelf is much better so far and even the Pearson app was better. Like other reviews, bookmarking was very confusing, never would bookmark on the correct page and not sure if this was mentioned but highlight things took forever and if you highlight a lot, the app becomes very slow and it’s VERY hard to use. I would recommend either just buy your books on amazon and using kindle or using Bookshelf. Both very nice apps for reading textbooks.

Rating is below “0”. The WORST app I’ve ever used. Very slow, page navigation is terrible. Moreover, when I tried to download a book on my laptop, app was not responding, and after several trying I “had reached the allowable print limit for the particular book”!!!!!???? Now I don’t have a text book to study... Thank you very much for wasting my time and money!

Just an update. Fix. Your. Text. To. Speech. It’s absolute garbage. I start TTS on the first page, Saul Goodman until I want to skip a chapter, hit the TTS button and... boom right back to the first page. I know JACK ALL about text to speech or code writing but I worked with better programs in the eight grade... 8 god damn Year’s ago! Your kidding me, I spend hundreds of dollars on text books that I can only receive through your broken service, thousands on tuition to be jerked around by you fuggs. I. WE. The people paying for your services are clearly unhappy with your product. Fit. It. Until then I look forward to the next company to receive your contract. I’m sure they will recognize the power of customer feed back.
Fix your product. You give me the option for a text to speech service! Fantastic! If only it worked HALF THE TIME! I have no idea how to select where it will start reading, if it reads a paragraph then I want to go half way down the page and have it read another paragraph, as soon as I hit the button it jumps all the way up the page and continues to read the last paragraph! I’ve tried highlighting what I want it to read, nope, I’ve clicked on the paragraph I want, nope. I’ve put the paragraph I want read at the top of the screen! Nope. If I’m spending multiple hundreds of dollars on text books, I want a working platform on which to read those textbooks. I will change this review when you fix this service. Until then I will be seeking for another product...

after using this app i can say that my initial assessment was completely off-base! This app goes above beyond! Beyond HORRIBLE. It is barely usable, functional and certainly NOT worth the $50 cost of the text book i need this 'app' to read. It continuously deletes the answers entered into the exercises, jumps around the page, so you lose your place, can't see the window your typing in or skips around between contents/pages. Do yourself a huge favour and buy an actual hard copy; any perceived advantages to etexts are negated by it's user interface problems, not to mention the time wasted trying navigate and redoing exercise entries. This is a negative star app; a blackhole consuming your future, money, patience, time and soul. AVOID! ABORT! save yourself!

Immediately after dl, upon opening this app, the first thing it asked me to do was log in. Since I did not have an account, this was not possible and there was no option to create an account (most basic of features??). Had to go find a pc I could use to look up their website for help (use the term loosely) and found a way to create one. Managed to log on, and was delighted (it should be noted I am fluent in sarcasm) to find the rest of the app just as easy to manage as it was to get started! It’s counter-intuitive and awkward to use and I am not looking forward to continuing the experience, unfortunately it is the platform my college uses for their etexts; so I am a hostage to it. In summary, if you have a choice, you can do SOOOOOOO much better! Pass on this one; I sure can’t wait to break up with it!

It starts reading the text from the very beginning and doesn’t let you decide where to start reading from. The laptop top app does though. I think this feature will be an amazing tool students can utilize! Please fix and update 🙏🏼

Just give me a real book. At least then, when I bookmark page 10, I can return to page 10. With this app, I choose my bookmark and it takes me to page 6, or 2, or 8, but never 10. Don’t get me started on highlighting. Pagination is crap. Garbage. Worse than early beta.

What is with the text to speech?
1.It will only read the text shown in the screen of my phone and tablet but will not read the following text. 2.Scrolling down will reset the reader starting to re-read from the top down.
3. I can not close the app and listen to the text on my commute to/from school
4. Every time I try to copy part of the text I have to get ride of the reference text added by the program
