My essential planning tool

Error
I keep getting the same “Network Slow” error message and my plan won’t load. I have to delete, reinstall and then download my plan to get the app to work and even then it will only work once. I would not recommend using this app.

Review
Difficult to use, not truly is able to use offline. I downloaded this app to use for directions offline (no data & no wifi). After I figured out how to download my plan to view offline I found out you can’t use it for directions. It links to google maps but you can’t view walking directions offline.

Easy to use and adjust activities
First time I used the app. Made it easy to set activities for a five day stay in New Orleans. Due to rains and flooding we found ourselves adjusting activities. This was easy to do using the app. Details such as tickets and opening/closing times of museums etc. ensured we were able to see highlights as well as little known sites.

Amazing Resource for Traveller
I discovered this app while creating an itinerary for my friend to folllow when visiting one of favourite cities, Budapest. I was mapping the must-see’s; best transportation options , and travel time an ad for Visitacity popped up! I discovered that not only did Visitacity do everything I was trying to do but much more! This app allows travellers to book activities and tours based on the duration of one’s stay and what kind of vacation one is hoping to have, i like to visit as many attractions as I can when I travel so I choose the packed itinerary option. I used it when visiting Spain and Portugal last fall and found it wonderful for preplanning and time management when there. It is has everything on it one needs to make the most out of one’s urban explorations including audio guides that can be downloaded so one doesn’t have to use data in foreign destinations. I recommend it to all of my friends especially when travelling to destinations for the first time!

Very good app!
Would be a dream if this app, TripIt and Google My Map/Maps.me all came together. Great for sightseeing. TripIt is great for A to B and pulls from travel email confirmations. Neither app does the driving from city to city part. I had to use all three for a trip to France. Would be great if one app did it all!!!!

Fantastic
I’m very pleased with the Visit a City App. It helped us to organize our trip and not miss out on anything. Having dates entered in, helped to plan when things were open and possible tours we could take. It also helped us with using our time wisely and gave us walking times between sites and let us know if other places near by to use our time wisely. Sometimes the app glitches out when adding activities, but it recovers soon enough. Thanks for making our trip easier to manage.

Hi, I’ve been using this app for planning a few trips for 2019. I’m highlighted suggested itineraries for each city I will be visiting. So far it’s been great to pick from the various options (jam packed, family, leisurely etc).

Save time organizing your sights
We used VAC for our Baltic Cruise and Bus Tour. We used VAC for our one day in Copenhagen and all transfers and finding sights went smoothly. As well, we used VAC for 5 days in Prague. VAC website is straight forward to use. We chose to make paper copies of our itineraries. I recommend using VAC.

Excellente application. Je l'ai utilisée pour un voyage à Vancouver BC et j'ai même pas eu besoin d'utiliser le guide de voyage que je m'étais procuré. La réservation de billets pour le Vancouver Aquarium a aussi très bien fonctionnée. Quelques dollars plus chers par billet mais on a eu accès aux sites sans fil d'attente. (Et puis, faut bien cotiser un peu pour cette app gratuite si on veut qu'elle continue d'exister) Idées d'amélioration : pouvoir interchanger les jours ainsi que les activités dans une même journée.

Totally blown away by this app! It would suggest an itinerary depending on the length of your trip and then it allows me to edit by changing the time and the duration and even allows me to delete the suggested attraction. Each attraction even has a description and then you can substitute an attraction. Amazing!
Probably the only thing missing and it could be a stretch, is a map showing the attractions. It doesnt have to be a detailed map but just an overview and with pins to represent the attraction.
