Easily time Labor Contractions with this elegant and extremely user friendly app.
A simple one-button interface to start and stop your Contraction timer. It clearly lists the duration of each of your contractions, as well as the interval between each contraction.
Also extremely useful for any Doula in assisting expecting mothers at full term during labor and childbirth. The delivery of a newborn baby is extremely intense, and Contraction Timer will help any Doula to time a pregnant womans contractions and deliver their baby.
You just have to tap a single button to start the timer, then tap any part of the screen to stop the timer. Contraction Timer app will take care of the rest! The app is designed to keep track of the times, durations and frequency of the entire labor period.
Easily record the intensity of a contraction with our simple slider during the contraction or when adding/editing a contraction. Great visual cues for the intensity of each contraction that allows you to easily see the intensity of your contractions over time.
Notes can also be added to each contraction and are displayed alongside your contraction timings for quick recollection of the important aspects of each contraction.
Reports and graphs for displaying averages and trends over time will be coming soon. These graphs will show if your contractions are increasing or decreasing over time, as well as allows you to decide when you should go to the hospital or birthing center.
Contraction Timer remembers all data and whether you were in the middle of a contraction or not between launches, so you can jump back and forth between this and any another app to distract you during and between contractions.

Help me when I needed
At hospital my wife in contractions and this app was the one that works best for me.

Good app but bad timing asking for reviews
I like the app in general BUT when having contractions I really don’t want to be asked every few minutes for a review of the app. This is a no go !
And notifications should be switched off, otherwise you get one after each contraction if you don’t want to install the follow up app.

Like the app, low stars because WHILE a pregnant woman is timing a contraction is NOT the time to interrupt and ask for a review!

Simple but frustrating
Having an app ask me to review it while trying to time a contraction was more than a little annoying. It would be great if the app tracked where you recorded the intensity throughout the contraction, as it helps determine seriousness of contraction and can indicate how far along you are in stages. If it can’t do that, then it should at least save the last thing you put in. Not a fan of how insensitive that bar is. Other than that, it got us through and I like I could choose between the “time between” being from the start of last contraction and the end of last contraction.

Times contractions, but...
I chose this app because it was supposed to be a full-screen start button ( touch anywhere on the screen to start or stop), but there is just a narrow green button to start timing, and the rest of the screen is taken up with advertisements for their other apps or just ads. It also keeps asking for reviews. Also, does not keep your phone from sleeping during a longer interval between contractions.
This is not an app that just lets you focus on your contractions.

Great App but Too Many Notifications
I like the app as it’s really easy to use but the notifications for their other apps or recommendations after every contraction is incredibly annoying. When you’re in labour you don’t need to be reminded that to install their baby tracker add every 3-5 minutes when you have more important things to worry about.

This app was great, timed everything out perfect. I downloaded last minute and it was super user friendly. I couldn’t have asked for a better resource for timing my wife’s contractions.

Good, except...
Simple and easy to use while in labor. Two things... red is perhaps not the best colour choice during contractions, and the persistent requests for a rating that pop up during contractions made me want to stomp on my phone. I’m pretty sure that I gave a zero star rating when I was in labor out of sheer anger.

Terrible timing
Too many requests to rate and review!!! When in labour!!!! 🤦♀️ This app is also not calming or sensitive to the purpose it is playing. The red colour is abrasive. The app made me want to throw my phone.
