Use the Carnival HUB app to share your cruise countdown with friends, then explore and book shore excursions, spa treatments, drink packages and more. When the time comes, you may also check-in and obtain your boarding documents.
As you board your ship, connect to Carnival’s Wi-Fi to view what’s happening, weather, dining menus and more! Onboard internet purchase is NOT required to use the Carnival HUB app.

Nice App. Used the chat function with my family. Does not push alerts or chat message unless the app is open. Please get this changed Carnival.

App is great except for the chat feature
The app was great for getting information and keeping up to date on weather and activities etc ..however the chat feature which cost us $5 each was pointless as we wouldn’t receive each other’s messages until 2-3 hours after they were sent. This happened throughout the entire cruise. What was the point ?

App was most helpful. Easy to Use and pull up maps, events you are interested in etc. ONLY wish the opportunity to chat with family on board was possible without having to pay for that service

Great in theory but....
The concept of this app is indispensable however, many glitches made it frustrating to use. When it worked as it was supposed to, it was fantastic but there were so many times when you couldn’t tell if your message went through, you didn’t receive the response sent to you and the ‘What’s Happening’ feature wouldn’t update, that I made it difficult to rely on. I never did see the daily menu options for the dining rooms. Hope it receives some improvements before my next cruise in 2021.

Great app!
I did not use the chat feature so I can’t comment on that, however for all else it was awesome! You can see your photos pretty much instantly, see what’s happening at all times around the ship and where (& you can click on the event name and it’ll give you a little description), there’s maps of every level of the ship, you can make dining reservations and view menus...there’s so much it’s a really awesome app that I loved using!

It was good when it worked
It took 3 days of our 4 day cruise for the app to switch from the countdown to the actual app that told us what was happening and such. It would have been great to have it the entire time.

Greatly helpful for communicating on board., setting up group chats, meeting places, seeing what’s happening or what’s to eat? Sometimes messages didn’t load correctly the last time, often not showing up until the next day, so that was frustrating, but this was from a year ago, I’d expect it’s better by now!

Very helpful

So handy
We were traveling with my brother in law and his family. Using the chat feature was amazing to plan meeting up, or let each other know if plans were changing. Also being able to see the planner made it easier to coordinate schedules. I used the hub multiple times a day.

Great app but some adjustments are required !
Great app to communicate is you are large group or just a family. Just one thing that stop me giving a 5 stars. I was on the Carnaval Magic and the app had a tendency to freeze a lot and need to reboot it many times a day to make it work. I don’t know if it was the Wi-FI that was too week or too many people using it considering that the Magic was full capacity on board. But this needs to be address by the programmer or the Wi-Fi administrators to increase the bandwidth.

It is an excellent app for when you are in a group inboard. Just remember to download your pixel photos while still onboard. We were so busy with the activities and did not have time in the morning of debarking to get them downloaded.

Useful and intuitive
We just finished a six day cruise. I found the app to be quite useful. In particular, the maps, what’s happening and kids club activities were quite helpful. It had the hours and menus for the restaurants. It was also quite accurate with the account for our room. I highly recommend the app if you are cruising.

The app was easy and user friendly. However there are times that it disconnected, and times when you tried to type a message the screen froze. Otherwise it’s a good way to communicate with the parties while on-board as the ship is big. I wish it could be free of charge.
