Simple, minimal and it works.
I’ve been using Edison for all my email accounts. Flawless syncing, enough customization options for me. Once in a while I will try other clients and then come back to it.

Scrolling stopped in last update
When opening the app it’s locked. I can’t scroll through my messages at all. I can’t select an email to delete or move anything. The app is just locked. It just shows my first few emails and I can’t do anything. It’s locked on my iPhone, and my iPad. No problems with the Mac app.

Does not trust privacy
It asks for access to a lot of your personal information before you can even use it. I download bc I was trying to download my mail app, until I realized I had the wrong one. It does let you opt of info sharing before deleting! Hoping this was not a scam 😣

Worked fine then started losing emails.
This app seemed to work fine for me for awhile but then when waiting for a confirmation email, I would get a notification that I received the email but then an error message saying the email couldn’t be downloaded. Went to gmail and it was there in my inbox. Makes me wonder how many other emails I may have missed using this app. Switching to the gmail app.

Slower getting mail / privacy policy updates
I have purged all my data. I have revoked all access that this app had to all of my email accounts and deleted this app.
Slower to get new email that Outlook.
Any changes to privacy policy or terms of use are NOT announced to end users up front and instead is the onus of end users to always check policy on website for any changes.
Not confortable these days having some email on 3rd part server even though I don’t use their assistant. Was shocked to seen some of the personally identifiable confidential email they had stored. They keep saying they anonymized the data they give to businesses but why are they storing the unanonioized raw data at all on their server somewhere on the Internet. They were storing emails of mine from 4 years ago with my name address and phone number.
Again I was not using the assistant and have purged all of my data and deleted the app from all of my devices.

Freezing all the time all of a sudden
Edison was one of my favourite apps for months, and I’ve recommended it to countless friends, but now it’s freezing up on me! Still going to give it 5 stars because I know it must just be a bug, but please fix it ASAP!!

Don’t listen to the negative reviews
This is hands-down the best email client I have ever used. I was using the pre-installed mail app for iOS but it was terrible. I decided to try out this one and it’s incredible! Yes, you need to login with your email to access the app because it’s an email app! So the people freaking out about a ‘breach of privacy’ are a bunch of crybabies. If you don’t believe me simply download it and try for yourself this email client is incredible and even though you login with your email the company doesn’t read your emails, so everyone freaking out about that: relax. it’s a super good app.
Edit: one minor problem is with the MacBook app. You can’t see the subject of the emails that are sent in a chain, so I have to open the iphone app & check there. Please fix this!

Could use some improvements
This app is almost perfect except for the fact that there is always 2 badge app notifications even if there’s no unread messages. (I checked on my computer as well, even when my inbox is completely empty this happens). Also some emails reappear in the inbox after deleting them.

Don’t force me to store my data on your system
They’ve decided to force you to backup your data on their system and then managed to have a data breach of sending that data to the wrong devices in the same release!
To anyone else deleting the app remember to go into your google account’s privacy page and revoke their access!

Privacy breach!
The new account sync feature had a massive bug, allowing random strangers to access your ENTIRE email account. I suggest every Edison user immediately delete all of their data from this app and stop using this horrible email app. This is the second privacy scandal associated with this app. I’m done.

Does not send mail
There has been an ongoing issue for several months now where the app does not send mail properly. I have to close and reload the app before it will send a message. This has led to multiple issues where my childrens teachers are not receiving my replies.

Fully functional and no complaints
I really like the options given by Email. Very fast and legible email reading.
In particular, viewing links in the in-app browser saves a lot of time!

Decent but buggy
This is one of the better apps in its category, although there are some inconsistent bugs. The cursor jumps around a lot when composing mail. If multiple accounts are installed, the unread counter badge climbs uncontrollably. I had one new email come in, and the badge count jumped by over 100. Went in to the app and back out, and the unread counter went back to 1. Happens on almost every new email that comes in.

I love this email app. It's the best! You can just mark all the emails you don’t want in the’Focused’ inbox and you won’t get them anymore unless you switch to ‘Other’. It’s a great way to get rid of unwanted emails. Love it love it love it!!!!!

Smooth Email Management
Very pleased with the Email App on my phone. Runs smoothly with intuitive features. I would give 5 stars so far but I have been getting a lot of spam since using the app and not sure if it is somehow connected in some way. Other than that all is good!
