From the first race in 1973 as the Whitbread Round the World Race, sailors have battled for trophy and glory over the last 45 years.

Dongfeng Race Team won the 13th edition of The Ocean Race, which started from Alicante (Spain) on October 22, 2017 and finished in The Hague (the Netherlands) with a final In-Port Race on June 30, 2018. The teams visited 12 cities, six continents and covered 45,000 nautical miles.

Previous edition was better

Last edition of the race in 2013_2014 had a better app: updates on the tracker was more real time. For this edition, the app has less features and is more limited. What we want is real time data. It is all what matters.

Really like the live tracker and its ability to show the current stats for all boats. Sometimes I find it difficult to get back to some of the other features.

Good But Confusing Information

The information provided is usually fairly confusing to understand. I just want to know where they are now and in what place are they. I do not understand why you make it so confusing to understand.

The sky tracker site is not hooked in with Google Earth as it was in the last race. I could look at the various islands that the fleet passed by and explore them from above. Now there is just a shape so you really have no idea where the fleet is and the navigation issues they face.

Sur mes IPads la fonction wind et isobares dans TRACKER font planter l'application! J'aimerais voir des présentations sur les ajustements techniques des voiles, etc. sur ces 65. Vos couvertures ne sont pas assez régulières. Aussi, j'aimerais bien suivre sur ce qu'il se fait sur le moribond bateau de team vestas.

Very frustrating app

I want to watch the finish live in the app...

The front page should tell us all sorts of info including Distance to finish, time to finish and when and how to watch live. Do I have to wait until 30min before the finish to figure out how to watch? All there is are various articles. Very frustrating.

Seizure inducing intro

I like that I can now choose the option to end the seizure intro early, but you should get rid of it all together. It's annoying to have to close this every single time I want to go into the app.
