deep conversations
Some of these conversation starters are DEEP! I tried starting a few in the morning with my partner but sometimes the questions felt too heavy for so early in the morning. These are going to change the way you speak to people. No small talk where these are involved. Just deep, heartfelt conversations for everyone involved.

I was so excited about this app… but it does not work on my iPhone, despite the fact that I have the right OS. It opens on the main page, and nothing else happens. Boo.

Terrible conversation starters. Not creative at all, doesn't cover any good small talk topics. Wish I could get my money back. All these 5 star reviews are written by Danielle and are FAKE AF.

These questions have seriously altered my peeps and I. Profoundly and irrevocably. They have an ability to envelop you in thoughtful tenderness, just by being asked. Another question totally shook and woke up my Inner Goddess, while cuddling all those empty spaces I had simply accepted so profoundly, I actually felt my heart smile just by being asked the question!
Want to show someone how much you care about them? Ask one of these sublime questions and watch your relationships blossom and deepen. Especially the relationship you have with yourself. OH YA- iTs flippin FUN too!!

I loveeeee this app!!
I've always been a huge fan of deep authentic conversations and now with this app I have access to initiating more purpose filled chats in more of the social/casual communities I'm a part of.
The questions are just the tip of the iceberg of what is possible when it comes to humans connecting from a heart space. I love how gentle and welcoming the questions are and they have sparked some fantastic chats, debates and soul bonding in my soul family tribe.
Esthetically the app is gorgeous to look at and it is super easy to navigate for a non tech savy human like myself ;)

A great place for genuine conversation!
This app is easy to use and to navigate. The conversation starters are useful. I have to be honest and thought having these conversations would be more difficult, but was pleasantly surprised to find myself connecting with a friend on a deeper level within 24hours after downloading the app. I also found immediately connected to complete strangers on The Desire Map Facebook group once I just let go and stepped into Danielle and her teams conversation world (took me about 2 hours!) The app truly opens up genuine conversations towards a better you and a healthy social world to live in <3 Thanks for making it!!! Nicole

Use this app on your next date night
My boyfriend and I went out for drinks last night. I pulled out my iphone and selected three questions from the app. We ended up chatting for an hour. I learned something about him, and he learned something about himself. It was authentic and intimate. Conversations like the one we had just make us stronger.

Glad I came across this app
I happened to read an email and discovered this app. These questions are perfect to ask my husband and daughter. I can't wait to ask some to friends and family. I tend to be a bit more introverted and conversation doesn't always come naturally for me. The app is also beautifully designed. great coaching tool
I use DesireMap for myself personally and to help me be a better coach for my clients. I'm always on the look out for good juicy questions and this app is loaded full of them. Questions that really make you pause and think. They force you go deeper in a comforting and supportive manner vs an uncomfortable one. Nice to now have this at my finger tips.

I will use this every day
At first I thought; "Wow do I really need prompts to start conversations?".
Then I realized that this will be more about starting conversations with myself. Making sure I'm tapping into the depths of my soul on a daily basis, and then sharing my contemplations with those I hold dear (especially my nieces and nephews; love asking kidlets the hard questions to get pure, unfaltering truth).
And once in a while I will throw out a doozy to my favourite barista.

What a cool concept…what a cool app! And no surprise it's by Danielle Laporte - the thought provoking maven behind The Fire Starter Sessions. Maybe it's because small talk makes me twitch with boredom - especially about the weather (ugh?!) - but this app could change all that with compelling questions that could turn around a lull in a dinner party convo in no time flat. In just opening this app, it was like someone cracked open my heart and was speaking directly to what I needed the most. The optics are gorgeous in the clean and simplistic way that Danielle and her team have developed. The usability is focused and simple , allowing access to the content. Conversation Starters: A Desire Map App
I love this app! I've used it to guide enlightening and fun conversations with my 8 and 11 year old daughters, friends, husband and with myself too. I love the fact that I can choose a new card each day to spur my own thinking, sometimes before a run I pick one to give me something to ponder. The shuffle option is fun too when I need to push myself to be a bit random. I also like the fact that I can share the cards with friends easily via Instagram, Facebook and email to get them thinking and start a virtual conversation in addition to the in-person ones. Love it!

This is THE conversations app! Unlike similar apps out there, it is beautifully designed and full of truly meaningful questions that I actually want to talk about.
