User unfriendly, even for adults.
First of all, there is no obvious way to exit the app when I am finished with it. An app shouldn’t even be allowed in the store without an option to exit.
Secondly, the “phonics” island and farm has letter tracing activities, which makes no sense since you have already dedicated an entire location to “tracing activities”. Consistency with your categories should have been a bigger priority to you when you were developing this. I wouldn’t be surprised if you put a few phonics games in your tracing categories, because why not, right? Lol.
Finally, you should keep the chatter to a minimum to satisfy the lower level learners. I heard your narrator say “oh my armadillo” or something along those lines. What does that even mean? We don’t all understand your slang, and it’s even more confusing to esl learners. The language should be simple and to the point, without idiomatic phrasing and other unnecessary figures of speech.
For these reasons I will not be using this app to teach my young students.
