Biller

I love(d) this app until I realize you can't delete a client or project after creating the entry. You can't even modify a project name. I'm still giving it 2 stars because if you don't anticipate to make changes it's fantastic. Otherwise a total waste.

Using it for 3 months

I have multiply clients I bill and so far I've found tracking my hours and generating invoices quick and easy. The only issue I have had is that on one client their name was repeated twice when o generated an invoice, that's before the latest update was published so that big may be fixed. All in all great app I would recommend it.

Great billing app for psychologists in private practice

I work in private practice and find this app very helpful in tracking billable (client contact) hours. The only thing I would like changed is the following:

1. To be able to set the app to track billable time by the hour (for example, 1 hour, rather than entering the start and end time).

2. To be able to move closed clients to a different area of the app (so current clients are readily available on the client page and invoice page).

3. To allow more options for viewing total billable hours. For example, to view billing for different months, rather than filtering to either all or the current month.

4. To display both total hours billed and total income billed for all clients during a specific billing period or month (rather than total hours/amount billed for each individual client) would also be very helpful.

Otherwise this app has been perfect for my purposes and I would highly recommend it.

Simplicity attractive, easy to use

I love the look and feel of this app for tracking hours. I do casual work, and the option to choose different time increments is great. Also love the filter for paid vs invoices items. For simple bookkeeping, I am very pleased that I can email an auto-created invoice that has room for notes. A suggestion for a future update is to make the iPad and iPhone apps sync up; that would be so handy, and it'd be worth a small fee. I look forward to updates! Thanks for this free app!! Super job!! :) :)

Has potential - needs some obvious features

Just downloaded this and am still familiarizing myself with the app. Already seeing where this won't work for me. Some simple adds would help.

I have a major client where i do some work by the hour and some work on a flat rate/unit basis. Further some jobs are billed at different hourly rates. I want to be able to put all of this on one invoice but that does not appear possible with this app. There needs to be much more flexibility about how to enter time and different rates within a client including flat rate jobs.

Also the time clock feature may well be useful but I would prefer to enter a specific number of hours rather than track literal time. I might work four hours on a project but this could be spread over 8 or more hours in a day. It is not necessary to track by the second - too much of a nuisance.

I also can't see where I tell the app the tax rate I need to apply. I live in canada and need to apply GST or HST depending on where I do the work. As it goes the app does not seem very sensitive to geography. Maybe it is there - I just have not found it yet

Please continue to develop this app - it has promise - but I won't likely use it as is

Could be good

Might be good, but needs attention to make it useable.

Sorely needs the ability to draw contact information from the iPhone contacts. No one wants to have to enter all that information for every client into this app by hand, especially when all that contact info is already on the phone. Just import from iphone contacts please.

Also needs the ability to preview the invoice in the app without having to email or print it. Presently you'd have to email it to yourself, open it there, check it, and then return to the app if it requires any editing.

Hopefully updates will add these essential features. As it stands, unfortunately its just not useable (unless perhaps you only need to do one or two single invoices, otherwise just too much work).

Thanks for the effort devs. You're on the right track, just needs some tweaks.
