one big problem
decent app does exactly what it says, would be perfect except one big issue that ruins the whole app for me and i’m sure others, it absolutely needs a ‘reset voice to default’ feature or something similar… it’s my own fault i messed with the pitch and speed too much but now every single voice sounds absolutely freaked lmao… because of this the app is relatively unusable because all the voices are absolutely unlistenable….. like i said otherwise could be perfect!!

Simple and clean
Does it's job and does it well. I like that you can choose to have it always use your device speakers so if you have headphones it's not going through them.
Voice struggles with pacing sometimes with long sentences or will occasionally pronounce things wrong but that could be an Apple issue rather than the app.
Overall when you need to say things it does it!
Also is nice that it's a one time payment to remove ads.

Unable to select any other voice or options
With the free version, you are unable to select other voices, speak as you type or any other features other than the default settings. The email for support does not work.

I used to love this app for my video editing but now when I try to import a audio now it is just very loud white noise? I downloaded the IOS 17 update so maybe that’s the reason but it isn’t working anymore :/

Update For Crashing Because of Too Many Words
I fixed a problem that I had with the app crashing, me reinstalling, then it opening again with all the data that made it crash in the first place and promptly crashing again.
Go into the iCloud and turn off anything that has Text to Speech on it. Then install again.

i had to test a few text to speech apps but this one is the best! the voices don’t sound that good and sometimes i can’t export it so i just screen record, but apart from these details it works just fine.

Best free TTS app on here
This app is great, easy to use and a ton of options to choose from. And the audio will still play when the phone is off, so my phone’s battery doesn’t drain. Highly recommend!

Locked out
Upgraded to IOS 16, worked for a couple of stories pasted in, the app crashed, now I can’t get it to come back up again. It opens but I can’t paste anything in.
Tried ending the app and rebooting ipad, same problem.

Good, but I’m a bit confused
I’ve used this app for a year or so, and I quite like it. Primarily the somplistic interface and the lack of ads or a text limit. It can hold 45k words, 90k words, and even a combined total of 135k words, but I added about 2k more, so it was 137k, and it suddenly broke. I’ve deleted it and reinstalled it 7 or 8 times, and rebooted my phone once or twice, even deleting it for a few days before trying again. It’s still busted. I can’t access the settings, can’t type, it doesn’t even load most of the time, instead just crashing.
Is there a way to help this?

Problem exporting wav
Export file as .WAV yields an empty .WAV file which cannot be used in other apps that support .WAV files. .M4A format IS working, yet I need a .WAV file.
I’m using iPhone XR, iOS 14.7.1. Perhaps it’s just a bug with MY phone as I don’t see anyone else with the same problem.
I’ll say, however, that barring this bug - which makes it useless to me - it is a very good app that does what it says, and is easy to use.

good software, but crashes often
This is, unfortunately, my favourite text to speech app. I say “unfortunately” because it has a bug where if you switch apps and then go back - not even close Text To Speech, just switch apps, even for only a second - the software ends up in a constant loop of trying to open and crashing. The only way to fix this, in my experience, is to delete and re-download the app. Considering I use this to listen to me and my friends’ stories while I work, this is a massive inconvenience, and I’m half-convinced at this point that this bug is an intentional way to get more downloads to make the app look better than it is. All in all, if this crashing thing wasn’t an issue, I’d love this app, but with the crashing thing it’s obnoxious and damn near useless, and as soon as I find something else I’m never touching this mess again.

Works like a charm
This app is super easy to use and fun to play around with. I am just having one problem though, whenever I try to export an audio into Kinemaster, it won't work.
The audio will export and I can find it in the app but when I put it into my video and try to play it says that one or more of the file is missing. It could be the fact that I have an iPhone 7 so it's kind of outdated, other than that the app is working perfectly

I absolutely love it with only a few tiny complaints. There are a few quite common words that are not pronounced correctly and I paid for no ads and the app still has ads and the “remove ads” thing. I already paid to remove them 😕

I had this app for six months or so and it worked perfectly. Only in the last month it began crashing on my updated Iphone 11. I hope they fix the app soon. I tried closing the App and shutting off and turning on my phone with no luck. I am worried that if I uninstall and reinstall my old files won’t be there anymore. Please fix!

After selecting another voice, I wanted to go back to the default voice, however there was not an option for it so I deleted the app thinking it would work and I’d get the default voice back, but it didn’t work. Please add this feature
