This is not the real Anki app; doesn't use Anki method to optimize the card order, all decks have to be uploaded to a central server, no response to emails...who knows what is happening to your personal info.

Decks are unordered.
Downloaded some premade decks which were intended to be presented in a specific order. This app disregards that and presents them at random.

Better than the real app
The real app cost $35 and this is free. The real one doesn’t work well, and all they say as an excuse it oh that is because this is a mobile version. Well if it doesn’t work well why, does it cost so much.
This is smoother, and it -only cost $0. It might have some very minor problems but there is so much better than the original from what I have tried.

Dear developers,
Thank you for this amazing app.
I would just like to suggest to update it such that we would be able to merge decks, to be able to add cards to a new deck from previous decks, and to be able to move cards from one deck to another.
Additionally, adding a global search function that allows one to look for cards in all decks available would be nice too.

Good app
I use it for learning language and driver signs pretty good for a free app it helps a lot, making a couple flash cards a day. Adds up to a lot after a while. Found out about this app through a book called fluent forever by Gabriel Wyner

Thanks for wasting my time
I wrote a program in python to automatically update the decks for me. Took me about a week. Then, all my work was lost because the nexus.anki web page gives me an error each time I try importing it.
I could have used a library directly for Anki instead of working with csv files.
The support email never replied back after 2 weeks.
I’m really disappointed in this app.
Use the original Anki, don’t use this one.

Crashes all the time
At first the app was great but the more cards and decks you add the slower it gets. After making a card it won’t always save or it’ll kick you out while you make it, and as you review your cards it also freezes and will randomly close. Definitely was not happy with this app.

I can’t download any of my decks on any of my devices (iPhone, PC, iPad, MacBook). Very frustrating when you have but in the time to making all the decks and cards. This app has major issues.

No longer good
It worked great at first but the app crashes consistently when trying to add photos and hasn’t been able to sync in a while. I’ve spent time trying to readd the cards but now, there are repeats randomly created throughout my deck. It’s been chaotic and I have not received a response yet from support. This just has been a lot of stress. Don’t recommend.

Love the cross platform support however the audio uploaded via the web app only plays of your iPhone's silent switch on the side is not off which is very confusing

All my cards are gone
I made 9 decks in total with pictures. It kept freezing when I tried to test the card so I deleted the app and reinstall to see if the problem solved. But HECK NO, now part of my decks are GONE which is almost 100 cards! It took 30 min - 1 hr to make each deck and I have 2 days left for final. I’m never using this app again. WORST. APP. EVER.

This app did not work for me, and after repeated emails, asking for help, they did not reply, nor respond to requests for my money back. This app in my opinion, is from a scam company. Avoid this product and choose Quizlet, a much better company.

This is not by the AnkiWeb folks
It’s just a knock-off of Anki Flashcards’ AnkiMobile, with WAY less functionality than AnkiWeb and I’m pretty sure the spacing algorithm doesn’t work. Because this is a knock-off it won’t sync with AnkiFlashcards or AnkiWeb. How misleading and what a scam. Pick a new product name instead of riding on someone else’s branding!

Though this is not the other Anki (the app with the blue star on its icon), this AnkiApp is beyond amazing. It does the same spaced repetition strategy of learning but you can also import pre-made language sets + QUIZLET. It also quickly syncs with other devices (without you having to pay extra)!

Unlimited upgrade fails, no support by developers
I have purchased 3 times in a week the unlimited version and it fails to log me in as an unlimited account. The app says I need to contact you, which I have many times now, but not 1 response from you!! I thought the payments hadn’t worked, but in the end I paid 3 times for a 1 year unlimited account. Get back to me ASAP. The payments were done with my iPhone and computer running the latest versions of the app as of today.

Does not allow split screen function on Ipad. Will not minimize the screen and part of it is cut off, making it difficult to write new cards as the save button is not present.

Kicked me out now won’t load
I love this app, but at one point a few days ago it kicked me out of the app while using it and I had to log in again. When I logged in, my downloaded decks were no longer downloaded and worse, I could no longer download them. I am stuck in an endless loop of clicking open, then download, then open, then download. I tried clicking app support but it brought me to a page that apparently steals your financial information. Wonderful.
