Sora AI deliberately makes mistakes
When you make a prompt it might mess up one thing. When you try to correct it something else goes wrong. You spend 40 credits to correct one thing and it seems to purposely ruin what it initially did.
I will take the free credits but I would NOT spend a dime on anything else.

Still has a LONG way to go
It’s fun to use, when it’s working. I spent a lot of time trying to learn how to write prompts properly but no matter how I write it, it’s insistent on getting dialogue backwards just about every time.
Wrong characters say the wrong statements, it misses details and actions, it screws up the aspect ratio a lot, etc…
And don’t even get me started on the “content violations” it loves to throw up over the simplest little harmless things.
I’m actually at the point that I think it’s doing it on purpose to get you to spend money. I’m pretty much convinced of that now.
I should also note that there’s a lot of things in physics it still doesn’t fully understand. But this could be forgiving because I know they’re still working on that sort of thing. But the other issues I described above causes me to question.
I think this could be a lot of fun but still has a long way to go.

Can’t make videos due to a "Heavy load".
I've been having this problem for a week where I try to make an AI generated video and it just doesn’t work. It keeps telling me that it’s under a "heavy load" I've waited for days for that "heavy load" to go away. Apparently I see that some people have the same problem I have and some don’t. It’s not fair. Sora AI and Open AI please do something to get rid of this "heavy load" issue or I will delete this app and no longer use this app permanently.

Reporting system sucks
So you cannot show Sam Altman wiggling his butt with clothes on but you can show people with buttcracks. You can’t show the late Princess Diana and the late queen elizabeth but you can show Larry King. There are so many contradictions and content violations. What’s worse is the reporting system doesn’t give a flying fuh about what you report if you find it offensive but if you prompt an equally or less offensive thing, it will say you have a content violation. There are absolutely no checks or balances with the reporting system.

The content restrictions make this absolutely unusable. I can understand obvious restrictions such as nudity, gore, abuse, copyright infringement. But dear god, almost everything is a content violation now! This has made people like myself just straight up giving up out of frustration and search alternatives. It’s a shame, it has the potential to be something great if it wasn’t for the app treating you like a child. Hopefully another more daring company will take more risks, otherwise this app and the community is dead, it already is. Don’t bother, wait until a better company does something different. The content restriction system is both inconsistent and overly punishing
As this says the content restriction system is ruining the app, not only can it prevent a prompt as innocent as a woman dancing but allow people getting shot the next if you get too many violations in a row you can get banned from making anything ranging from an hour to a whole day.

Is this is the future of AI, then our civilization is doomed.
But there are also problems beyond the concept. For starters, the app is run by bigots who, unlike what other reviews imply, DO NOT put ENOUGH restrictions - people can easily make videos mocking dead celebrities (which is about 60% of the content) and religious figures (which is more common on this app than you think). It creates conditions for worst of the worst AI-generated garbage possible.
I’m very disappointed in OpenAI and I will take steps to try to refrain from using their products completely. I liked ChatGPT but, as I said, this new app is absolute garbage.
