I bought at least half a dozen of YI cameras and they worked well until this company started to force you into buying their cloud service. I will throw all of my YI cameras in the garbage and will replace them with TAPO.

DO NOT BUY THE CAMERAS!!
I purchased 4 cameras from this vendor about a year ago; i absolutely loved trhe devices, as they were very easy to install. I bought memory cards to use for storage rather than rely on their cloud services (privacy concerns!!). I initially rated thos company 5stars on Amazon but little did i know, they were going to mess everything up!!
About 6 months ago, they showed their true colours! They started adding the most insane adverts ever… you login to view the camera, and you have to spend 2-4 minutes viewing Ads! All in a bid to force you to upgrade to their Cloud services (which i will never do because of the huge possibility of privacy/data protection risks).
I have had to go back to the Amazon store to downgrade them to 2 stars!! My recommendation?? DO.NOT.BUY!! And do not bother installing this app (YI camera solution) neither.
Look at the other options: TPLink Tapo, Blink, any other product is better than the Y! Pro Home security camera.

Cannot access cameras anymore. Bring back the cameras and make it free again. I cant be bothered to buy the subscription for a glorified wifi scanner

Kami cloud is what you want….Delete this app yi home app from all of your electronics, erase all content and reset your devices… And reset all passwords… and for the love of all that is good… Research… Research… Research we’re all getting too lazy and complacent with these apps and devices

Can’t even connect to the cameras, or log into my account on the app to access my cameras that way. Returned the cameras because they’re useless.

Tried using on my I phone 16 and it wont move from wifi scanning. I mean it doesn’t let you go through the existing cameras or connection.

Does not add yi home devices then pressures you to subscribe to premium features to attempt device add again. Free trial which they claim is cancellable in settings but does not allow you to cancel
