Inconsistent game play
Reading the greens wind and clubs is virtually impossible. You could take two of the exact same shots with exact same conditions and end up with two completely different shots. Terrible game.

Ended up dumping this app because its a pain to try and gauge the power meter and direction for a decent swing, who has time to master this? Not me, I’ll find another game thx

The tutorials are severely lacking and features such as putt preview just disappeared one day, also at times the course map is just not there so you just have to take a random shot that ends up out of bounds.
I have been playing this game for about a week now averaging maybe an hour a day and did not get unsolicited ads until about day 3, and they are random as well as long. I purchased a set of clubs the other day as well and did not receive them either.
It would seem as though this game stopped trying to improve a few years ago but still expects people to pay for a subscription, the latest version of devices that come up if you want to register a device are 5 year old tech.

Great Game but…
Would like to give 5 stars as the game and graphics are awesome but the costs to upgrade anything are ridiculous. If the costs to upgrade clubs was better or awarded clubs in boxes, that would be great. Plus how do you turn off email notifications, I have tried and I get them constantly.

Love this game
Been playing for a number of years and gorgeous graphics and excellent mechanics even if there are a few glitches. I ended up purchasing clubs to support the developers of this fun game. The only negative point are some of the jerks you play but you can block them.

Which seems fair, but every dude I play seems to have bad wifi. I just won three games in a row by forfeit. Not fun.

Let’s everyone cheat including the golf game itself
It doesn’t know how to divide under 50 level to play against under 50 level players. You could be level 130 with clubs that can tee off over 300 yards against your measly 230 yds. That’s cheating! You work hard to earn points and the higher level and the site itself steals your points. It says that the site is free, but, they are always trying to get you to buy something.

Don’t waste your time...
If you want continued frustrations then this is the game for you. No consistency in what you do. Poor shots end up looking fantastic then shots you hit totally on the screws - end up going no where. Then to add to you frustrations you can enter shout-out events. 50% of the time (at least in my experience) the game screws you. Takes shots while you are setting up, or your opponents forfeits the match and you get hung in the process - mid game and then it counts missed holes as bogeys. Or in head to head matches you are waiting for an opponents shot - looks like the system is hung - then you find out you have been thrown out of a match where you were winning by 3 to 4 strokes to find out you “forfeited”. just poor. As said don’t waste your time.

Incredibly disappointing
Everything except the gameplay itself is great in this game. The “tutorial” explains next to nothing, I had to watch of weebs on YouTube to understand how to gauge power, incorporate roll, or add spin. Even then, the results are sporadic and seem to make no sense making it nearly impossible to play a hole through without at least one egregious error that costs several strokes.

That’s the least amount of rounds you’ll find yourself playing on a daily basis. There are still some programming issues but still by far, the best golf app out there. Also, if you want to improve your game, you definitely have to spend some of your real cash: or spend endless hours watching ads for free credits. I recommend the former. Good luck and have fun.

Patience Required
A good, fun realistic game playing by yourself or by joining. Oh try clubs. Patience required to build up your equipment and you must practice and map your clubs to really get good. No instant pudding here. Downside is that upgrades to fix current glitches seem to create new glitches. Feedback via a Discord server with access to WGT reps is good. If you like golf simulations, this is one of the best!

Another rip off
Game play is great. If you want to compete you need to upgrade and it’s impossible to upgrade without paying. Just playing free solo games is fun for awhile but you’ll never get low scores without getting the upgraded equipment. So in short play for a few days and hit delete.
