The Lee Valley Library app enables you to view our Woodworking, Gardening, Hardware and Gift Catalogs in one place, on- or off-line, at your convenience.

Lee Valley is a family-owned business that has been serving users of woodworking and gardening tools since 1978. Whether a tool from Lee Valley is one made by Veritas® Tools, our manufacturing arm, or is one of the 5,000 or so we get from around the world, it will always have our full guarantee.

Library Bookshelf features:

-Download catalogs through an Internet connection

-Catalogs range from 5 MB to 90 MB in size

-Catalogs are stored locally on your iPad/iPhone and can be viewed with or without an Internet connection (off-line viewing)

-Navigate between catalogs within the bookshelf

-Receive notification of our newest catalogs right on your iPad/iPhone

-Manage catalogs – sort or delete by accessing the edit function

Catalog navigation features:

-Finger-swipe navigation

-Pinch to zoom

-Slider bar for easy page maneuvering

-Alternate to single or double page viewing by simply rotating your iPad/iPhone

-Jump to specific pages using bookmarks

-Add notes to bookmarked pages

-Keyword search

-Table of Contents browsing

-Jump to index

-Navigate to pages directly from Index

-Send an email with a single page or a range of pages from the catalog

-Print catalogs (if connected to a wireless printer)

Upgrade! Not update!

This app needs a serious make over. It needs an upgrade to something useful ( like the products they sell!).

Product searches and link to wish list?

In app purchases? ( not my thing but people are doing it)

So much more could be done.

Awesome catalogs

I've always loved flipping through the Lee Valley catalogs to see all the interesting things they contain. This app makes it super easy to download them and check them out when I have a few spare moments even when I'm not at home.

Still Crashes

Best case, the app crashes after viewing the first one or two pages of any catalogue. In dire need of an update to correct this.

Lee Valley might be good but the app sucks

Guys, the last update was 2 years ago, there were 2 iOS versions issued in the meantime, of course the app is crashing when you want to open anything.

Don't understand why you need a special app just to access some PDFs, really.

Complete Bust!

I downloaded to my iPad IOS v10.2 today.

When I search it shows me results and then immediately crashes. Restarted the App, tried to scroll thru the pages. The app crashed before displaying Page 10.

Way to go ... good memory management.

Very 'kluggie' for a 2016 app

No hyperlinks to be found. No way to buy directly from the app.

Only moderately useful. LVT clearly had their own bottom line in mind when this was designed. You guys could have done SO much better.

A good resource

Have been using the app since it first came out. Runs great on my iPad Air.

Redundant iBooks alternative but slower, heavier, featureless.

Who needs this when you can use iBooks with less storage space, where's "Add to Cart"? Two stars, no ONE for another deep pockets national chain to make a more usable and intuitive app.

Leevalley 1.5 Won't Load

My iPad is running 5.1.1, since I upgraded to the latest version the app won't open. I have uninstalled, reinstalled and gone through a complete shutdown to try and rectify the problem, but no luck.

I used this app a lot and really miss it! Please get it fixed!

Not useful

Not at all useful - it's basically a PDF of the catalogues. Can't search items, no shopping list capability. The website is much more useful.

The biggest drawback with this is that you can't order from this app, nor can you even build a shopping list. It is nothing more than a specialized version of the iBook app. It could be made much more useful if you could add to a cart, then place your order for delivery or pickup.

Another issue is that you have to download all the catalogs you need, then you need to know which catalog you want when looking for something. You cannot search across catalogs.

Not everything seems to be available. I wanted the current monthly special catalog, but it was only available in French!

As long as you have an internet connection, the company web site is still far more use than this app.

What is the point

This app is little more than an online program to view electronic version of the printer Lee Valley flyers. Why don't they just give them out on ePub? See little point of the app

Ok, I admit it, I LOVE Lee Valley!!

And having yet another way to settle into the world of quality that they consistently represent is pure bliss. And to have it all on my wonderful iPad, who can ask for anything more...

Nice job folks, keep up the great work.

And Kudos to all the great folks in the Halifax, Nova Scotia store!!
