When I was younger, much younger, I dreamt of being a journalist. How essential the role of journalism appeared to me. How necessary it is for somebody to speak truth to power and expose corruption. I have been a news junkie for many years and have really lost heart and hope when it comes to journalism. The vast majority of news outlets today are propaganda outlets and there’s no objective journalism to be found. And even what is found, if a person is half aware, they realize it’s not even so much what’s being said as what’s not being said. Then comes the fearless journalism of the Epoch Times. There is still hope for journalism as long as journalists at the Epoch are working.

I find Epoch more reliable than most of the other news outlets. I am sick and tired of the major news outlets spewing the same rhetoric with no real investigations and no more real journalism. Glad I came across the Epoch Times. Believe I was directed to it after watching American Thought Leaders on YouTube. It covers world news, including Canada, in an unbiased manner. Opinion or comment is clearly identified as such and the news is good old what, when, where, why. No TDS here. Also, this is probably the only paper that can, and does, give you the straight goods on China.

This is the coverage I want, and I want instant notifications of Epoch Times coverage. What I cannot abide is the impossibility of viewing any other content besides ads and recommendations after clicking on an interesting headline and struggling to retrieve, afterwards, the page that I sought with the first click.
