This used to be a useful app, but no more.
I’ve had to reinstall numerous times, now it refuses to work or accept the password given to me. Don’t waste your time or money on this piece of crap.

IBM Micromedex® Drug Ref for Internet Subscribers is included free of charge to those who have an online subscription to IBM Micromedex® products.
*If you do not have an online subscription to IBM Micromedex® products, please instead download the non-subscriber version of this exact same app, called IBM Micromedex Drug Info for $2.99 a year. It’s a low-cost alternative for on-the-go access to Micromedex drug information.
Access to IBM Micromedex Drug Ref for Internet Subscribers requires a password. Once you’ve downloaded the app, follow these instructions to obtain the password (which only needs to be entered once per year):
1.Login to IBM Micromedex® through your online subscription.
2.Click on the “Download Center” link near the top of the application.
3.Refer to the detailed downloading instructions, which include your password for activating the mobile app at no charge.

Really bad user interface
It’s amazing how they redesign the app logo but not the actual app. The UI looks like it was made for the first gen Iphone. It’s time to upgrade it to a newer design.

Unrelenting updates
App is very frustrating because you can never actually use it when you need to. The moment it opens it forces an update, which can take forever on poor internet connections. I end up having to google most of my drug questions because I don’t have time to wait. Updates should be done in the background or regularly through the App Store. As well, it shouldn’t be necessary to enter the subscription code after every internal update - that’s more wasted time.

Won't open without wifi!!!!
This is a great app if you can open it. The latest update has made this app useless. Please fix it so it can work without wifi. I will do my updates when at home. Thanks.

Won't open
Unable to open the app unless I'm in a WiFi area even though it says I should be. The retry button does nothing. Fix this immediately please

Continuous updates and wifi requirement renders app useless
Every time the app is opened it attempts to update the content regardless of previously been open seconds prior. This updating takes approx 30-60 seconds. It also requires the user to be connected to wifi. If no wifi connection is available the app does not even open. This app used to be an excellent resource. But with these barriers to access the resource has made this app useless

Useless with new update
The most recent version updates the entire content every time you open the app. This takes at least a minute or two and makes the app useless for my work. If you do not have wifi, it will not open at all, although it tells you in a pop-up that you can open without updating. There is no mechanism to do this, only a "retry" button for the update. Will no longer be able to use this app.

Doesn't work anymore!
Crashes immediately. Used to use this all of the time, now I cannot. So frustrating!!

Crashes in iOS 8.1, still!!!!
Crashes immediately on startup on iOS 8.1! I use this app a lot in my practice AND I'm still paying for a subscription. Please fix this to support the new iOS. Unacceptable that you do not maintain it for paying customers.

CRASH
This used to be an absolute lifesaver everyday for me at work. Now all it does it crash! Before would have given 5 stars.... Now I give it zero. Please fix so it will work properly!

Since ios8 the app crashes on launch. Needs to be updated.
