Description

AutoMute allows you to automatically mute,un-mute your iPhone,iPad on selected locations.

Automatically mute your phone at cinema, at the library and any other locations that you want to silence your phone.

Don't forget to un-mute your phone when you leave those locations and miss important calls.

AutoMute will automatically un-mute your iPhone,iPad when you leave those locations.

Uses minimum battery power. Uses iDevice region monitoring with low battery usage.

Important:

W-FI should be enabled in order to get accurate location.

Instructions:

- Click on edit to create new location

- Enter location name

- Select the location from the map. You can select a location by using your existing contacts or search for a location.

- Select the operation when entering the location. The default is to mute the device.

You can also set the volume to minimum or maximum.

- Select the operation when exiting the location. The default is to un-mute the device.

You can also set the volume to minimum or maximum.

- Enable Notify if you want to receive a notification on your device when the operation is executed. The default is to enable notification.

- Enable/Disable the saved location. When disabled the location is not used.

Now to test the exit operation you need to exit the location. To test the enter operation you need to exit the location and enter it.

You can also test your Enter operation by using your current location.

Like the app BUT……

I know that this app is free, but I would pay for this app if it worked properly.

I really liked this app because it does what it supposed to do, for the most part. You set it up so that it lower or mutes the volume when you are in specific areas and it works beautifully. However, it seems to be unable to reset the volume back to normal when you are not in those areas. So when you want the phone or alarms to ring, it doesn’t and this means that you miss calls, reminders etc. I’ve tried to work with this app for many years and thought that it was my iPhone that kept going wrong, but it wasn’t the iPhone, it was this app. I just got a new iPhone and hadn't put the app back on yet for several weeks. Phone was working fine but as soon as I put the app on it started missing calls, reminders etc. So as much as I like what this app is supposed to do, I am going to permanently delete it from my phone. I would rather be embarrassed while I'm sitting in church when my phone rings, rather than missing a reminder, meetings or important phone calls, and I have the confidence to know that my phone will ring when it supposed to ring.

Does not work

I tried everything and simply does not work on iPhone 6 and 7. Unreliable at best.

Excellent app

It mutes my phone when I enter my office and unmutes when I leave my office. Contacting the developer for any questions gets you an immediate response.

Garbage

Be aware: this app requires access to your contacts for unknown reason. It will also not work in low power mode. And after all it just won't work, like it did on my device - it just won't mute most of the times. And when it does work and mutes - it ignores "Vibrate on Silent" system setting.

Reliable!

I rarely buy an app. Because of my work in radio, I needed a reliable and automatic system to mute my phone when enter the station and that brings the volume back when I leave. AutoMute is that app. I'm really glad I bought that one!

Should be one of the first apps you get

PERFECTION!

Volume goes down to 50% when I'm at home and when I'm 50+ metres away it goes to full volume. When I'm within 50 metres of work it goes down to 25% volume.

Works perfectly and doesn't chew up battery.

It works!

It's not a fancy interface, but it does the job. Turns off the ringer when I get to work, so I can't forget (any more!). I also set it to turn the ring on when I get home, in case I muted it somewhere and forgot.

Simple. Now if the interface was as pretty as its brother app, it could have one more star!

Worth the money, because it works!

Nice app

It do what it said but I would like to be able to set it for an amount of time like select a volume value for like 2 hours.
