De la crotte
A mon avis.. il dise qu’il prend les cartes maladie du Quebec pour faire la vérification si on est des vrais personnes. J’ai perdu mon temps. De plus que ça fonctionne pas. Il nous dit aller au bureau de poste présenter le code qr.
Mes la madame avec moi on a perdu 30 minutes de notre temps a scanner mes cartes d’identité. Ça jamais fonctionné. Et après plusieurs tentatives il sont bloqués mon code qr . Au téléphone il nous dit de supprimer l’application et recommencer a zéro… des vrais clown… et ça fonctionne toujours pas.

No. We are not conservative trolls
Three of us tried to use the app to vote. One had no issues. Two of us could not get to the ballot, and support was of no help at all. I could have wasted less time on this if I had gone to the post office but at that point I was fed up and done with it. As info, none of us are “technologically challenged”.

What a terrible experience using this app. I tried so many times to verify my face and it never worked. I had to go to Canada post in person and the staff agreed that it’s a bad app. I can’t even open the app now despite verifying in person. What a waste of time.

Huge disappointment
Despite finally obtaining my Identity ID which I was only able to do after two visits to the post office as the app would not accept my valid pieces of identification, I am still unable to cast my ballot in the liberal leadership race. I am just about confident that despite all my efforts I will miss the deadline. I cannot fathom being a non-technologically inclined person trying to utilize this app and voting process, I am at my wits end.

Lack of Recognized ID
I have pieces of government ID that aren’t recognized by this app including a firearms license. Which is a very secure piece of federal ID.
Additionally my BC combined services card, which is my drivers license and my health card, counts as a single piece of ID but if I had kept my DL and health card separate it would accept them as two.
I don’t understand why it needs so much ID plus a picture of my face to register me. I assume because it’s electronic.
I don’t have to show this much ID to vote.

Terrible App
The scan for the second card does not work. I tried multiple times with various cards. It is set up differently from the scan for the first card or seems to be , because the first scan box just has a rectangle while the second has a second box within the scan rectangle (perhaps looking for a bar code that none of the suggested pieces of ID have). Do not waste your time with this.

No way to recover ID. No support
I deleted my app to reinstall it to try and solve an issue with pop up not working (despite them being enabled), but turns out doing so wipes any ID with any validations you had. No way to recover. No support after emailing twice in the last week. Such a good idea to have this kind of service, but needs account recovery and real support.

Ne fonctionne pas sur une tablette, seulement sur téléphone portable mais cette incapacité n’est pas mentionnée lorsque l’ont installe l’application. Incapable de tenir compte des changements d’adresse sur les permis de conduire des Québécois qui ont déménagé et qui ont encore un permis de conduire indiquant l’ancienne adresse, même si la nouvelle adresse est indiquée au verso et que l’application nous demandent de numériser le verso. Nous avons mentionné le problème à Poste Canada. Ils nous ont appelé mon épouse et moi mais au final ils n’ont rien pu faire et notre identité n’a jamais pu être validée en raison d’un déménagement d’il y a plus de 2 ans. C’est pitoyable qu’en 2025, des concepteurs payés par les contribuables Canadiens ne tiennent pas compte d’un problème qui peut affecter plus de 20% de la population du Canada.

Probably designed by the ArriveCan team.
I have used other tools to verify identity such as the Wise app that works well. This is glitching and difficult. Eventually stopped because my passport has full middle name and drivers licence has an initial only so would not verify. Very frustrating.

I downloaded the app 3 times today. I was sent the code to enter each time. I checked the code each time I entered it. But each time the app told me that the code was incorrect. I need to verify my identity to vote. I am disgusted with Canada Post Identity +. This is voter suppression.

Seems to be no way to enter any link for identity verification with a third party. Also has very confusing instructions for final step of passport verification. Interac has been adopted by CRA and works fine so no need for this make work app
