What's New in Version 0.59.12

This update makes our new simpler interface the default.
• Press and hold on the AI Camera button to access more ways to create an observation.
• Refined Camera & Suggestions: Enjoy a cleaner AI camera interface, better offline suggestions, and better suggestion photos.
• UI and Usability Updates: Updated sign up and login screens, notifications, My Observations list, map tiles, and more—making the app easier and more pleasant to use overall.
• Additional Bug Fixes and Performance Enhancements throughout.
You can switch back to the previous interface anytime by going into Settings and toggling Show Advanced Settings on.

Great improvement compared to the original iNaturalist app

Great new features:
- Allows batch uploading of photos into either various observations or a single one.
- Option of saving observations in iNaturalist while travelling and sharing them later, upon returning home.
- Other new features similar to the web version
Needs improvement:
- more uniform application in the app of user’s language settings

Is it better?

Glad that they’re are bringing more features to the mobile version of the app but one problem that needs work in this app is the UI. It’s confusing and I preferred the simplicity of the old app. Maybe I’m just not be used to it but right now the older version is easier to use.
