Couldn’t connect camera
Even though the setup and downloading was fairly easy when trying to connect to my iPad camera it wouldn’t. When trying to find out how to solve this issue I couldn’t find any information about it. No good having an app that doesn’t work.

This app was great when it worked, but no longer works and crashes. Oh well. I also lost all of my cat footage too. Pretty bummed about that.

It’s free! So amazing!
Considering the only thing you need is a device and Wi-Fi this app is amazing! Yeah, you can pay to have faster videos back to back and more space but even the free version of this app is more than enough. I’ve been using this app for years the only downfall I think is sometimes it can be confusing, when it comes to setting rules. As well, it could be difficult finding the right spot to place your device while remaining plugged in. so for that, I give it a four out of five.

Old, low image resolution
I guess it was good few years ago but nowadays, it's really outdated. The quality of the image is low (iPhone Xr so good camera), 5Mb cloud storage is around 4 clips of 20 seconds. It also tries to connect to Bluetooth... I feel mitigated about this and will go instead buying a real IP camera.

Worked well then just stopped working
It used to work fantastic and then one day I tried to connect to one of the device cameras and it just wouldn’t, I tried deleting and reinstalling the app, I’ve tried removing and reading the cameras. I’ve tried closing and reopening the app accepting all permissions but nothing works, can’t connect to the cameras I was connecting to for months anymore.. kinda useless if you can’t use it at all

Always stop working after a few days
We’ve done everything suggested for setting them up properly, but my three iPhones always stop (disconnect) after a few days. When someone returns to check on them, Presence is still running on the phone, but they’re not connected when trying to view from my remote phone. It’s very frustrated, unreliable, and leaves us vulnerable when we are away.

Won’t switch cams
It won’t let me switch cams, the new phone always says use this phone as camera and shows the other cam as never connected
I deleted the app, still nothing works
I have iPhone8 so no idea why it’s stuck and won’t let me switch views
I deleted the app off both phones and still won’t work

Super easy to install and works well!
It took about 5 minutes to install on iPhones and an iPad, and my old iPhone 7 in the window is now able to monitor and capture anyone outside my door/front walkway. Great alert features and flexibility. Various rules can be customized.
Only issue (minor) seems to be it flags cars in neighbor’s driveway and going along the street.

Wow..... this is a must have app for anyone with an older iPhone lying around!!!! Let’s me reuse those phones as great quality security cameras!! The app has a ton of great features and is very easy to use. Keep delivering great apps like this one!!!!

Amazing app!
It does as advertised. It’s the best of it’s kind being a free app as far as I know. It gives me so much confidence and secure feeling that I can see what’s going on in our property (am putting it at front door getting a view of the front yard and know who’s coming in) as can be monitored from anywhere I go out or being away.
This is already very good and am content with that, but I just wish intervals between takes can be placed at zero(0s) and not five (5s) as default). But am not complaining as this is no biggie for me. Notwithstanding and no doubt about it, this app is so terrific, efficient and free!

“Who needs it?” I thought. But I tried it anyways. Now I use it any time I go out. No intruders yet, but I received a video of a post it note falling to the floor.

Easy and convenient
I like the app and it’s easy to learn but there’s a lack of options that normal security systems provide such as multi zone viewing and remotely controlling devices. I’d cancel my alarm company and solely use this app if they offered these options. A bonus being able to use old devices as cameras. Keep up with the new fixes and options and I’ll surely be here for a long time as well as upgrade.

Has been solid for 3 years
Great service using free for 3 years. 5s as camera 8 plus for viewing. Adequate memory except if your cats are active or you have a spider making a web outside kitchen window.

Geofencing does not go automatically in Away mode when you leave the house..needs fixing. The rest works nicely with old iphones!

Great app
Super happy I found this app. I’ve downloaded a few security apps prior to and nothing worked as claimed. This one is wonderful and very easy to use. The only downside is that the recording device needs to be open/logged into at all times. That’s the only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars but its perfect for a free app!

operation is great but objects are rarely in focus if more than 3 ft. fm camera although a simple snapshot will make a great focused photo. info claims the resolution is best when subscribed BUT there is no difference.

Great Security Camera Solution for Your Old Devices!
Presence has given me something to do with my old iPod Touch. I use it to monitor my house now instead of leaving it unused. However, the only problem with this app is the interface. It looks very old and needs to look more modern.

Works as advertised but can be sluggish
Don’t get me wrong the app works pretty well but I find that the interface locks up regularly when trying to enable monitoring or flipping through recorded videos. To get past these lock ups just requires patience because it will resume operations on its own. Also sometimes I’ll turn monitoring on but it doesn’t take and the next time I check the app monitoring is off even though I turned it on. As long as you have a little patience and double check to make sure the settings you have enabled are actually enabled it works well.

For the first several months it would disconnect after a week or two it's still occasionally disconnects but is much better now that I have my router automatically reset every 24 hours using a simple timer overall pretty good free app but I certainly would not depend on it for security

This is a great app that works as intended.
I originally gave this app 2 stars due to bugs that appear to have been fixed in the latest update.
Remote control through the app is working again and I’m very happy to have this functionality back. I spent the last couple of days testing it out and it appears I have my confidence back.
Notifications are also working again. Another happy plus to have that back.
Thank you so much for fixing these issues.
I would also like to suggest better documentation that is more informative. The FAQs are vague and could use some work.

Absolutely wonderful
I’m able to use my older devices to keep an eye on my dogs while I’m at work and it’s also is great for security, the motion activation captures everything at my front door. The geofencing is a plus it arms it when I leave and turns off when I get home.

Works great! The speaker echos a lot when using the 2 way audio, but camera is fantastic! The recordings are great, are emailed right to me and saved in the cloud. I caught my dog walker snooping through my jewelry box and dresser drawers, and without this app, I wouldn’t have known what was happening!! Thank you for saving my valuables and home!

Great App
I had no issues getting it to work on some old iPhones. So easy to review videos and the motion sensing option isn’t bad. Some of the setting are a bit restrictive and sometime motion is only caught a few seconds late.
