Description

The BlackBerry AtHoc mobile app brings the industry’s leading crisis communication capabilities to the palm of your hands.
During an event, users can receive critical alerts, and easily share pictures and videos from the field back to their operations centre to enhance situational awareness across the organisation. Users can also send one-click duress signals or even share their real-time GPS location to promote enhanced awareness of their location for added security and protection.
In addition, system operators are able to send alerts and manage their system while on-the-go, helping to get the word out and ensure safety for their people.

• Use of the BlackBerry AtHoc mobile app requires an Organisation Code from your system administrator.
• The BlackBerry AtHoc mobile app uses GPS services when location tracker feature is ON. Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.

Pinned Location Navigation: Tap on a pinned location in the map to navigate directly to it.
Clickable Links: Web URLs and email addresses in alerts are now clickable.
Smart Address Detection: Alerts now recognize addresses and support one-tap navigation.
Added 'Forgot Username' and 'Password Reset' links on login screen for easier access.
Smartcard-Only Login: Admins can now enforce smartcard authentication for enhanced mobile app security.
Expanded Localization Support: Alert notifications now support all 25 locales (up from 7).

Camera and flashlight issues

I downloaded this as my organizing started using it. However I began having intermittent issues with my front camera and flashlight. Then all of a sudden front cameras don’t work and just give me a black screen and flashlight stops working all together. I tried a bunch of fixes but nothing worked. I then deleted the app and it worked immediately. I will not be downloading this app again.

Terrible app

App sends alerts multiple times even after they have been acknowledged. The only way to resolve the issue is to delete the app. Good riddance.
