Description

Kardia works with the FDA-cleared KardiaMobile, KardiaMobile 6L, or KardiaBand ECG devices—-the most clinically-validated mobile ECG solution available to consumers.
Just touch the sensors on your Kardia ECG device for 30 seconds to capture a medical-grade ECG anytime, anywhere - no probes or wires necessary. Get an immediate result from Kardia's Instant Analysis of Normal, Possible Atrial Fibrillation, Bradycardia, Tachycardia, or Unclassified rhythms. For additional analysis, you can choose to send the recording to your physician or to one of our partners for a paid Clinician Review by a cardiologist (in the US, the UK, Ireland, and Australia only).
The Kardia system is recommended by leading cardiologists and used by people around the world for accurate electrocardiogram (ECG or EKG) recordings. Track your heart health data with the medical accuracy your doctor can trust.
NOTE: Requires KardiaMobile or KardiaBand hardware to record an ECG

How do I get the version that works back? Can’t figure out how to record my Omron BP!
This new version is a major step back. Not even sure a 2 isn’t too high.
At least the ekg works.
Get simple!
Update - Response from Alivecor was helpful. Still think the earlier version was quicker ( one tap, not 3 to get BP) but the addition of weight from my Renpho scale is good. Maybe it has always been there- can’t recall. The joys of being old!
So it’s now a 4.

I wish it could sync with Apple Health

The app is pretty good but I wish it could sync with Apple HeathKit. This seems like a pretty basic feature in this day and age.

Using the kardia app to keep track of an arrhythmia which reassures me that my exercise program is not interfering with arrhythmia. This is terrific technology.

Version 4.9.2
Recently was diagnosed with pericarditis. With cardiologists being so busy, getting information is hard and appointments at a monthly or longer rate sometimes can be nerve racking. This device allows me to take metrics on demand (even if less precise) and can keep historical track to review with your doctor.
Worth every penny, and they should’ve charged more. I would’ve paid it.

Great! 1 concern

Version 5.5.0
The app is great, accurate and works well! The only problem I find was that the “normal range” for heart rates does not go very high, and as someone with a higher resting heart rate that becomes a problem. It almost always says my EKG’s are “unclassified” which means there could be a concern but could also mean that the recorded heart beat was higher than what they consider to be normal. The person with the app should be able to set their own “normal range” or have the app create that individual’s “normal range” in order to receive more informative results.

I love this device!! It’s easy to use and it keeps a record for your Dr.
I went in to afib last Xmas day . It was the worse episode I’ve had since being diagnosed . I did a reading and it was very helpful for the first responders and ambulance attendant as when they arrive on the scene my reading was 70 back to normal.. I got mine online as suggested by my rythmoligist . It it an amazing device .

Wonder why does not record if heartbeat over 100 as thought if have AFib it could be much higher

Waste of money. Doesn't allow less than 50bpm

Total waste if money. Company non-responsive to multiple emails and phone calls. The software is setup in such a way that it will not accept less than 50 BPM. A well trained athletic person's resting heart rate can be just under 50 BPM. The software will tell that the heart rate is unacceptable and not normal and t refuses to analyze it.
I understand the reason is because they fear of repercussions from FDA because, yes, for people who have no reason to have such a low rate (untrained person) this could potentially indicate an issue. But this is normal for very well trained individuals.
They don't mention in their marketing materials until you find out.
So basically it's useless.
Company not responsive at all. No updates to the application.
What they should have done is to provide an option to enable analysis under 50BMP by providing a switch to turn it on and perhaps accept terms of use or whatever.
Instead they basically misrepresented the product and now don't even respond to emails and calls.

Amazing product

I bought the Kardia Mobile about a month ago and it worked great!! What a relief to be able to record readings right when you need them. Unfortunately, I can no longer get any signal. I tried a new battery and that didn't resolve the issue. My iPhone has been updated to iOS 10.3.3 and I wonder if that's why the device no longer works. Maybe the developer needs to update the software? Very disappointed.

Needs improvement.

This app was excellent in recording my Afib problems and I was able to print out the results for my doctor. However, the app now requires me to pay $9.99 USD per month if I want to continue saving my results to my journal. Now that the basic coverage has expired I have to email the results to myself in order to print them. As I'm using MY phones memory I should be allowed to save as many records as I please and print directly.

Just Cool!!!

My cardiologist showed me this app and the device after being diagnosed with Atrial Fibrillation. It is co cool. Sometimes it can take some time to get your fingers right when holding the device behind your phone. I just started using it and it works will and I can email the results to my doctor. He gave me the option to wear a monitor for a couple of weeks or to use this app and device - I chose this!! It has not recorded an irregular heartbeat yet but I'm waiting to see if it does. When I am experiencing the symptoms and I use this app I will be able to know better.

Soon to become monthly subscription only!!

I purchased an AliveCor mobile ECG machine for $150 with the ADVERTISED understanding that I will have full access to all the services on the AliveCor (now called Kardia) app. Starting Oct2016, I will only get a much-reduced version of the app unless I pay $10 and taxes per month. Unless they change this bait and switch practice, DO NOT BOTHER with this company.
