The book selection on tapas is great, though sometimes pricey. The app is really bad though. If you want to save money you have to enable a feature that makes it so when you swipe right you purchase the next chapter, that would be fine if it was not super easy to swipe left or right instead of up or down. Beyond poor navigation the app can be absurdly slow sometimes. It can take up to 30s to load a list of books you’ve read recently. Also the buffering is essentially not there. You will buffer at most half a page so you will have to wait for the rest of the page to load most of the time. Worst case there are large periods of time, up to multiple hours where you just can’t use the app because it is unable to connect to their server so instead you have to use their site where everything costs more.

This is a fantastic app and a great concept. I don't have the current version, but I suspect it isn't much different then mine. Typically I have a small annoyance or such with an app that is this popular, but I don't with this one. I love the comic half! They feel so real, in a way! I can't say enough good things about Tapas. I am someone that loves to support artists, and this is a fantastic way to do so. If you are someone that just wants to read, and can't be bothered by anything else, again Tapas gots ya covered!

I keep seeing reviews about not being able to get enough free "ink" (Commonly known as coins in other apps) to buy a chapter. I'd like to address this. Tapas has many great free comics to read! You do not need "Ink" for everything. Also the "Ink" is not expensive, despite what everyone says. "Ink" is a great way to support the people who make these amazing comics!

The app is overall good I really like the stories that are published there. But I personally mostly read the novels that are published on tapas, and I found that I am not able to change text size. When I do try, the text change button I click makes the whole app crash and refresh. I’ve tired many things like re downloading the app but that didn’t help. I don’t know if u can or if it’s just a problem with my phone but if u could do something about it I’d appreciate it

It’s really nice. I really like the stories and the fact that u always have promotions and stuff like that. The thing is, the episodes are too pricey. I would prefer if they were at least 100 or 150 coins but not 300.

I made several quizzes, but got NO inks! I shared to friends to get inks. It DIDN’T work! I did all the survey I could do, I GOT ONLY 10 INKS!!! The only thing working is adds ONLY WHEN IT WORKS! So, if we don’t have money, it’s extremely hard to unlock episodes. It would be better if ALL THE SERIES WOULD UNLOCK EPISODES AFTER SOME TIME! It’s not everyone who can pay with real money... Free inks is a lie. I’m sorry, but WEBTOON is way better than this app. And it costs way too much for one episode. Isn’t it possible to watch 2-3 adds to unlock a episode? Otherwise, the stories are great :) If it wasn’t for the ink, I do appreciate the app

I had tapas for a good couple of months, I don’t use it often only to read this one comic that comes out once a month. I was just on it today and I kept hearing this noise thought it was from my old laptop but I found that it was coming from my phone but only when I was on tapas! I checked my frequently used apps and the sound only came from when I was using tapas. I checked if it was maybe sound for the comic I was reading (called duke something) but was still making that sound when I exited out of the comic. The sound was very strange and it only came from my phones sound/music output. Sounded like and in and out exiting radio frequency. Very weird first time I’ve experienced something like that on my phone. I didn't care for that so I deleted the app. Not trying to jump to conclusions I don’t know what to think of it honestly so if it’s a strange bug issue that needs to be fixed asap.

I’ll start off by talking about the ads.

Tapas says you can watch 30 ads per hour but it’s a lie.

For me and probably a lot of other people it only let’s you watch 10 ads, which gets you 100 ink.

For one episode you usually need 250 to 300 drops of ink.

So it would be nice if the people who work at tapas could fix that.

I also have something to back that up I’ll watch ten ads then it says no video ads available.

Then it’s the next hour one minute later and somehow there are now ads are available, but of course only ten ads again.

Also the quizzes, I did a quiz once and spent 10 minutes doing it, thinking that I would get 200 ink.

But no because I got one question wrong. So I wasted 10 minutes of my time doing something absolutely useless.
