The app switched to a new login in 2018. Instead of retaining and transferring the data, it dumped everything and will force me to re-enter all records if I want to continue using. Not impressed 🤬

I hadn’t looked at the app in awhile, I just had to log in and all of my info was gone. I had myself and my daughters information all up to date and now it’s all gone. So unimpressed.

I keep records of my medication and travel, disease immunizations on my phone, but having this available and covering my wife and son, that he now has for life...is wonderful.....wish they would add medications with start and end dates.

Contains wrong information about at least one vaccine - brand name MMR-II is an MMR vaccine, not an MMRV vaccine. It incorrectly states that MMR-II will also immunize against Varicella (chicken pox).
Have been in touch with the app developers multiple times to have this fixed but have received no response so I will attempt to get through here. If your child’s MMR vaccine was entered by brand name, double check this so you aren’t missing an immunization.

Loved this app to keep all 3 of my kids’ immunization records in one place and track when immunizations are due. But I just updated the app and all of my children’s immunization records are deleted! All of my work for the past years is gone and the app now says my kids have had no immunizations and are overdue for everything. What a waste of time!! So very disappointed. Thought it would be reliable given it was associated with the Ottawa Hospital.

I was looking for the vaccine monographs that contain the research done by the vaccine manufacturers but couldn’t find it. I feel that parents and children should be informed of the risks before vaccinating so that we are aware of the pros and cons, and that information should be easier to find. Thanks.

You will loss all your past data after updating since it would switch from ImmunizeAB to CANImmunize! I lost all the past records! Now I have to obtain the old records from AB health service and reenter them. Developer please fix if you can!! I don’t want to review and reenter for everyone in the family!
Best way to track your kids’ vaccines

It’s super easy to use. It reports your vaccine info to Public Health so your kids’ schools will see they have been vaccinated.
You can ask for a printout from your doctor’s office of the vaccines and input everything, including the lot number of the vaccine.
No more yellow book required.

This app looks interesting and useful, but it is sideways on my iPad Pro, and does not rotate to match the landscape orientation of my device. Presumably I am to remove the keyboard/stand and hold the device in a different orientation.

If you are a traveler, an excel spreadsheet is better.
Adding exotic vaccines is problematic and then they don’t show up on your list of vaccines. Eg put in Yellow Fever, or Typhoid and once you enter them they are no where to be seen...you have to go hunt for them...do they they prompt you for boosters...who knows...the Typhoid doesn’t generate the booster / refresh date....which is 3 years for anyone reading this. If this is meant as a reference tool the developers have lots of work ahead of them.

The only thing this app is missing is being able to link it with your local health unit. I’ve been told by the team running this that’s something they are working towards. It’s a fantastic app for keeping all vaccinations up-to-date and keeping track of everything. Looking forward to having it fully linked with my local health unit! Excellent work!

This app is super user friendly. Once you create your account you can easily add family members. My son is 12 and It recognizes his age and automatically creates a list of vaccine’s needed with dates. All I had to do was click on each one and enter the day his shots were given. If any are missing it alerts you. There’s even a tab for other types of vaccines, it brings up a list in the category you selected and you just click to apply. There is even a notes section in case you want to keep track of lot numbers.
What a fantastic way of documenting and keeping track of something so important!
I highly recommend it.

I’ve had this app since it was first released, and can’t say enough about how great it is. I’m surprised that most doctors and pharmacists don’t seem to be aware of it (spread the word!).
So handy to have a lifetime’s worth of vaccinations at my fingertips. Cat bite—when was my last Tetanus shot? Measles outbreak—quickly verify that I’m protected. Planning a tropical vacation—when does my Hepatitis A+ B vaccine expire?
Best of all, they’re very quick to follow up on technical problems, and very responsive to user suggestions for enhancements.
A great idea—and a great app!

Makes keeping track of my family’s immunization records super easy! The app notifies you when a vaccine is coming due. Which is so helpful during infancy and childhood. The Immunizations also format to the “yellow card” making it easy to read and understand. There’s lots of educational information about vaccines and vaccine preventable diseases within the app, although with additional resources.
It could be improved if the immunization record(s)could be submitted to every public health unit in Ontario. Currently that service is only available with two health units in Ontario. Eventually submission available to every public health unit in Canada. It will make record management so much easier for all stake holders.

Great app for tracking immunization records for patients and families. Simple, easy to use design. Clear prompts for updating one’s immunization status. Most importantly, it provides an online, backed up copy of your records that is accessible from your phone.
Also useful for providers who need to (a) demonstrate vaccination status to their employer or (b) keep up-to-date with their patients’ care in the community.

I was very disappointed when I couldn’t get back into the app. All my information was gone. I checked the App Store to see all the reviews and noticed that I wasn’t the only one with this problem. After contacting the help desk and having a few hiccups to deal with, my app was finally restored. I can’t say enough about the service. They were great!
