Description
iGurbani - A powerful Gurbani Search Engine that allows you to search the Sikh scriptures.
With the Grace of God the Akal Design team developed iGurbani with a new database from the ground up. The focus of this app is to allow the user to accurately read the shabads from the Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji following a revolutionary style of showing the vishraams. Instead of commas and other punctuation the vishraams are highlighed in a specific color.
PLEASE NOTE: Since the Gurmukhi is from a new source and the database has been rebuilt from the ground up there are some errors that we could not catch during development. We are going to rely on the Sangat to help us identify and correct those errors.

Correction in many words
I am very sad to say that I liked this app very much because in this app there are all Gurbani but in those Gurbani there are many words which are wrong please focus on them and make correction in them.

Mistake in jaap sahib
Hi, their is a mistake I spotted while reading jaap sahib today. In the 46 pauri it’s written as - namastan esnanang( ਨਮਸਤੰ ਇਸਨਾਨੰ) but the correct fomr is namastan sanane (ਨਮਸਤੰ ਸਨਾਨੇ). However this app is great i use it daily!

Very grateful for this app. Minor feedback
Thanks a lot for putting the effort to bring this app. Some minor feedback to make it even better-
1. iCloud backup of the favorites would be immensely helpful as import/export can be difficult for some people to do. Plus, you can lose a lot of important shabads if your phone dies, or gets stolen, etc.
2. Larivaar and vishraam overlay could be shifted to the settings because most people just makes that choice once. They probably don't need to see it all the time. Removing it saves some valuable screen real estate
3. While scrolling down I many-a-times mistakenly scroll a few pixels up (fat fingers). However, it causes the entire menu overlay to appear, thus blocking the topmost lines. A suggestion could be to make the menu overlay come down only as many pixels as the user has scrolled up rather than showing the whole overlay at once.

Mistake in Rehraas Sahib
There’s a mistake in Rehraas Sahib in Chaupai sahib 4th pauri. After the pankti “ Tumhe chad koi avar na dhiyao” there should be “jo bar chahu so tum te pau” which is unfortunately replaced by “Aavan jaan jagat te chute”. Everything else is okay. Please fix this ASAP. Other than that it’s a great app. Thank you very much.

Manraaj veerji, my experience with iGurbani cannot be reviewed here. I was told recently by a Sant just like you that you were the one that was given the seva by Guru Maharaj to make iGurbani. When Guru Maharaj gave me the Hukam to come and sit in the sangat, i started to come to Asa Di Vaar because it was something that allowed me to sing and understand what Guru Maharaj is saying. “Avar Kaaj Thaerai Kithai N Kaam, Mil Saadhsangat Bhaj Kaeval Naam”.

best gurbani app.. yesterday i went to gurdwara sahib and i was not able to understand all words of shabad kirtan. I searched 2 words and i found complete shabad. I mesmerize it with baba g with the help of an app. great work done by app developer. Thank you so much..

Initializing database issue
This is the app I used most of the time while listening kirtan and save shabads as favourites. However since past few months the app is giving “initializing database” issues. Whenever I open the app, it says “initializing database” and the history/favourites are all deleted. Please fix this issue or let us know how to fix it.

Errors and crashes
Everytime i add favorites to this app it resets and they r gone and sometimes the app continuously crashes and u have to reinstall it to get it working again which also resets ur favorites. Plz fix it as soon as possible. This is a amazing app but the bugs are making it bad so plz fix the issues
