Description
Transit is one of most popular public transit navigation app on App Store.
Transit app provides public transportation navigation for your iPhone/iPad. Transit is very easy to use. It can be opened directly from iOS Map app when you select to get directions for transit routing. No worry on when and where to take a bus, train to your destination. This app provides all the information you need for the route, such as arrival time for a specific bus, and names of each bus stop on the route, and even the number of stops for a specific bus ride.
Plan a trip for another day and wonder what time to head to bus stop if you want to reach your destination at a specific time? No problem! In transit app, it allows to set the departure time or arrival time for your trip. You can even copy the route information or email it out to your friend or family. The reminder function in the app will remind you to take off for your trip.

To all the people who say this app sucks, for the lack of better terms, are either too lazy to understand how the app works or do not know how to use the app at all. Seriously, this app is the best!!! It gives you the shortest, the easiest and most accurate routes. The only downside is its slowness on predicting the address when you are typing it on the search bar and it does not indicate any bus BUS STOP NUMBER! That would make our lives a lot easier. But, all in all, this app helped and is still helping me in A LOT OF WAYS and I am so grateful for all the people behind this amazing and very helpful tool!

This is one of the best transit apps I've found. To all those who rated this app lowly, at the bottom of the screen there is a thing giving you step by step instructions on how to get where you're going. All you have to do is tap the arrow pointing to the right and it will tell you the bus number and the estimated departure time for said bus from it's stop. I figured all that out using it for maybe 2 minutes. If you used it for long enough to right a review about it I'm sorry but you must be really stupid not to have figured this out on your own.

I've had this app since 2012, it was fine on my iPhone 4s. However since getting my SE this app has sucked royally. I've been using it constantly for every trip I take and it always acts up when I change the time I want to leave or arrive by. It always shuts off on me whilst using it, and then takes its sweet time loading back up. Will not be using this anymore.

I live in Canada close to the border but not right beside. Every time I try to type in an address, the options come up as the ones in America. All. Over. 44 ours away. Idk why this is happening; my settings are all set for my current location. Please fix.

Every time I put in a destination it says "this destination cannot be found. It is probably out of our range" so I then specify the city that I'm in and it takes the city centre as my destination.

Incredibly reliable for North Bay and a real time saver with almost insider knowledge on which busses change into what and knowing the most effective routes. It would be perfect if I could figure out how to bookmark or save key locations in my route reliably.

You need to search addresses beforehand and add them to your "locations;" and then go back to the transit window to type type the address properly, instead of the name. Also, really hard to find bus stops because the walking directions require you to know where each street is, gps won't work for me. I used the compass to find my way to the right bus stop, but it wasn't there. It's an alright app if you have time to play by its rules, but not in a pinch.

Maybe this app works for Americans. But I haven't had any luck up here in Canada. Also it says it's free, then it has ads for clash of clans. Pretty much useless.. Just use your local Buslink for scheduled bus routes.

It's pretty accurate time-wise, but it often suggests that I take a route that requires the LRT, but will get me their at the same time as the bus. Why would I do that? It costs a lot more. It says they're are bookmarks, but I CANNOT figure out how to use them.. And finally, the most annoying thing... You have to know the address of EVERYTHING. Like you can't type 'West Edmonton Mall'... No. You have to know the address. Who tf remembers the address of West Ed?!

This is the best transit app I have had so far, it's great for route planning, but not so great if you want to look at the bus routes and stops, but I never get lost using this app. I always get to where I want to be, and I think this app has done it's job. Great app.

Honestly, terrible. It would be nice if you gave me all routes I could take, including the bus, but no because I happen to live near a train you tell me to take that and walk everywhere. So stupid and I have gotten lost so many times because of this stupid thing.

This app was a lifesaver for me. I mapped out my route from the airport to my hotel before leaving and was very pleased to find it didn't lose the map or route when I arrived in Dusseldorf, Germany. Without cell data or wifi, and not speaking a word of German, I would have been completely lost. Instead, it allowed me to find my train and get to my destination with confidence.
