ACU Anytime™ is Assiniboine Credit Union’s mobile banking app. With it, you can conveniently and securely manage your personal finances whenever you need and wherever you are. It’s like having an ACU branch that never closes, right in the palm of your hand.

With ACU Anytime you can:

• view your account balances.

• view your primary account balance without logging in (Quickview).

• review your recent account history.

• transfer funds between your accounts (immediately or schedule a future transfer).

• perform Interac† e-Transfers.

• pay a bill (immediately or schedule a future payment).

• call or send an email to ACU’s Member Communication Centre with convenient, one-touch contact-us buttons.

ACU Anytime uses advanced security features to protect your personal information and to prevent unauthorized access to your account. Mobile banking functions use the same personal access code (PAC) as your regular Internet banking and 128-bit SSL encryption – so even if you lose your phone, you are protected.

Horrible app!

This app is the worst I’ve ever dealt with. I use 4 banking apps and never have issues with the other 3 like I do with ACU. Refusing login info, app freezing during transfers, cheque deposits via the app freeze the account, etransfers take over 30 minutes to get to the recipient...

Upon complaining to ACU I was told they use a third party app and there is nothing they can do.

The problems have occurred and not been fixed in over 3 years.

Fix it or I’m switching banks entirely!!!

So bad. Just so so so bad.

Between the broken features that they haven’t managed to fix in FOUR YEARS since I reported them over 12 time’s—such as Push Notifications to the massive delay in tapping icons etc. It’s become crystal clear: Assiniboine Credit Union does not care about their mobile service.

Letting issues like the crazy lag from when you tap an icon and you think the app must have froze from how slow it is, only to see 45 seconds later it act like you just tapped it, then make you see a result 30 seconds later to have whatever screen you wanted load. It’s all just so poorly implemented and barely updated.

Big banks update their apps sometimes weekly. But so do some credit unions. We live in a mobile-first consumer society which means: Make it work on mobile as best you can. Then deal with the website and web apps and lastly deal with the paperwork design. ACU doesn’t seem to realize a lot of Gen Z and Millenials are making their choice of bank based primarily off of what the app can do. Welcome to a world where going into places like a bank is going away.

ACU doesn’t seem to realize that they’re not going to woo over customers with this app. I’m shocked to see one update a year and I know it won’t fix the plethora of user experience issues.

Unfortunately I am a loyal customer of 20 years so I’m trapped using this poor excuse of an app. Maybe when ACU does market research and sees the decline in young people signing on and asks why they’ll understand the “mobile first” strategy is how to win over young customers.

On the positive side, at least an app exists, flawed as it is. It supports sending and receiving of Interac eTransfers as well. So the app is not 2009 bad. I’d say it’s 2013 bad. Usable (just) but awful.

ACU’s refusal to update their app has made me decide to move all of my banking, personal and business over to one of big banks. They’ve have 20 years to impress me and they now just refuse to listen to their customers requests.

I should be compensated for time wasted on this app lol

One of the most frustrating apps to use for the following reasons:

-etransfer takes 3-4 tries minimum before you can actually receive it into your account. App has to be closed and refreshed, as well as text/email links

- major lag and response times when trying to click any button

- does not link up with collabria credit cards

- little to no updates

It sucks because the app was made to make banking more accessible and available, but it gives me such a big headache every time I have to use it. I literally dread being paid through etransfer because I know it will take me a solid 10 mins to get it into my account. Genuinely considering switching banks 🥴.

This is the worst online banking app I have ever had in my life!! You can’t save the password and I have to call the support team to get a new one every time! The e transfers are a joke. The website is so backwards back to the 90’s. This was done on the cheap no doubt. Get a better version or a new web master for god’s sake!!😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡

This app is the worst designed app ever. This company needs to update everything to be more successful. Other banking apps let you do anything and everything from the comfort of your phone. This is just a out of date mess especially the banking service and processing times.

ACU online banking is totally unreliable. I’ve been assured by your customer service my experience using the app will be much better than logging in via web browser. Fail!!! I can’t even login with the app. Due to the fact I can’t access my accounts when I need to I’m strongly considering taking my business elsewhere. This app almost works. The primary problem I face is that it logs users out at a frustrating rate. One can log in, try to do one thing quickly and find that it has logged out within seconds. Incredibly frustrating. I tried to deposit a cheque the other day and it logged me out 5 times while I was frantically trying to enter the cheque info in time. I gave up and walked to an atm...

This app is in need of an update bad! It allows me to do everything I need to do expect confirm my Apple Pay. It’s been a year and when I click “setup Apple Pay” it loads and takes me back to the home screen. Please fix this. I would like the convenience of having Apple Pay.

I find the app had a few bugs earlier on but i haven’t had any problems with it in a while. It’s incredibly convenient and I find it easy to navigate.

App in desperate need of a tune-up

I would say this app works reliably about 40% of the time. It’s so frustrating - constantly glitches & freezes, logs out in the middle of use, etc.

If it worked properly it would be great, but for now it needs some work.

Terrible.

I gave it two stars because it allows me to do what I need maybe 40% of the time. It logs you out in the middle of depositing or making a transaction. It is slow to load. It is a disgrace and needs to be overhauled.

Very Slow

I have been using this app for about a year now, and I can say that it is an extremely slow application. You need a lot of patience when you select an option from the app. For example, if you would like to view your recent transactions in your chequing account, it will take 5-8 seconds to load.

App works for all my banking, but why is there no MasterCard section? I have a CUETS Mastercard that I got through Assiniboine, but I still need to login separately (online) to see my bill. Would be nice if I could have it all in one place.

The app will not accept my password even though it is correct and logs you out every month even if you have been active on it. So very frustrating. I recommend you fix this app.

Terrible

The app rarely loads. I get a blank screen or it says server could not connect. This still happens after I reinstall the app. It regularly does not save my log in information and I have to re-add my card number and password. So disappointing.

Very Frustrating

This app was mediocre a few months ago. Now it’s terrible! Says “ Unable to load” or I just get a blank screen whenever I need to use it.

Whatever change the developers have made is not working!! Fix it!!!! I’ve been patient about his so far but my patience is wearing VERY thin to the point that I am considering pulling all of my accounts to go with a CU capable of more modern and updated apps!!!

Abysmal

This app used to be half decent but it was always sluggish and the interface is dated. But sometime during the past few months some change must have been made and now i can’t even log in most of the time. Blank screen, occasionally followed by a message saying the “app can’t load at this time”! Having a good mobile banking app isn’t an option for me it’s a necessity so I’m sadly in the process of moving everything to tangerine after over 30 years with ACU all because of the constant frustration just trying to access my account with this app.

Been glitchy

This app was fine and now it’s very glitchy. I find about half the time I open it it won’t load. I’ve had to delete the whole app and reinstall it a few times now to get it to work. Someone should look at this app.

Slow and glitchy

This app is dated and needs to be remodeled. It is slow and is constantly glitching, no matter how many times I exit the app and reload it, it still doesn’t load or has a blank screen. It often logs me out and I have to go into the bank to reset my account to be let back in. I’m considering switching banks because of this.

Cheque deposit

I will not use the remote cheque deposit feature any more. Deposited a CRA tax refund cheque six days ago and funds are still not available because of the hold on it. Depositing through the ATM or in person would have had immediate funds available.
