Im a host for this app and apparent the guest damage mu car.so i report the claim within 24 hours but no response not till after 2 weeks.so they decline my claim and me to claim within 24 hours..processing time takes forever and very poor management..kindly update the your system so the host will suffer the damages because we are using our own personal vehicles for their benefit as well..if i know this will happen i should never sign my car for this app..terrible and very dissapoonted...

They allow people 18+ to “USE” the app but what’s the point of having the app downloaded if no one is willing to rent their cars to people younger than 21? Horrible. Please make this app 21 & up thanks.

Do not use Turo under any circumstance. My 5 friends and I were stranded on the side of a highway outside Niagara for 6 hours after one of their cars broke down. We had to pay over $300 to get home and they now refuse to give us a refund for the taxi or the faulty car. They also told us to get back on the highway and try drive closer to Toronto so they could assist us even after we told them that the breaks were faulty and that the battery was no longer charging. They did not care for our safety whatsoever. Appalling service. Use any other car rental. It’s just not worth the risk.

Prices are very good but as soon as you set up an account it says you are verified than when you try to book it charges you than credits you and cancels your booking. Says your account needs to be verified. Went thru 5 different chat customer support at 5 different times of the day because I need this car within the 24hr period.
I had booked a week ago and everything was fine and one day before the trip it got cancelled saying I need to verify my account.
Upto now I’m still waiting to be verified. I’m so disappointed how long it takes to get set up yet I provided everything include selfie holding my license! Now I don’t have a car for the weekend.

Okay so this is ridiculous
I had signed in with my google account but I couldn’t sign in with my Apple (just an error but I assume due to the same email being used?). So I closed my account to reset it and now I can no longer sign in/ sign up with either Apple or google or Facebook.
Link for support on closure email links to me to log in...which I can’t.
How did this pass development?
I need help ASAP

I booked a car yesterday to pick up tonight, the host informed me that the platform made his car available but he had removed the car because he had sold it. Today I booked with a "new host" I arrived at the place to get the car and the host informed me that the car was in the mechanic and had informed the "turo" by email but also informed that the amount received was low and did not compensate for renting. I had to contact the “turo” by phone and report the situation. in short, i would travel today to spend my birthday tomorrow in the neighboring city with my friends, but now i will spend alone and miss my party because there is no car available
I really don't trust renting here anymore

If you were thinking of buying a car, Turo is a great way to try it out before you buy it. We were able to take a Tesla up to Whistler with our bikes and try the whole experience.

I have been using the app for about a month now renting my unused car out. I am very disappointed with the process for submitting a claim for the vehicle under the Turo insurance. My current guests broke the windshield accidentally halfway through their trip and have been stranded for a couple days with a car that is unsafe to drive because they are waiting for Turo to process the damage claim. Turo says to wait up to 3 days. Turo takes 30% of the listed price and also charges Turo fees to my guests and they can’t even bother to help my guests within a timely fashion so they can enjoy the rest of their trip. Not impressed Turo. If Turo only charged the Turo fees and didn’t take 30% of my listed price, I would have no problem paying out of pocket for replacing the windshield so my guests could have a better experience on their trip.

App makes it easy to post your vehicle for rental. Check in and check out process is easy and intuitive. Pricing is fair and appears to accurately reflect market demand. No sense customizing your price. If you price it too high, Turo’s algorithms backlogs your car.

Rented a car, planned my trip, then find out car owner was unaware of booking. Cancelled that trip and booked older car for more money because of timing. They charge card full amount and days later still no refund. Second car and trip is now cancelled. This is the worst experience I have ever had. Never again.
Call Enterprise they pick you up!

The sign up and verification process is way too complicated. They asked me to send so many documents and I’m still waiting to be “approved” almost a week later. Save your time and money and go with a traditional rental company. Selection won’t be as good but at least it will be a hassle-free experience smh.

I booked a car on Turo and messaged the host in the app. No reply but I thought it would be fine. On the day of my booking I called his phone and he said he had deleted the app a year ago! My plans got ruined and I am appalled that Turo does not require hosts to confirm bookings before your card is charged! How can a company mess up something so core to their business? If you’re going to copy AirBnB at least do it right...

Stop blocking Signin authentication with Apple relay email... you just hide this with a custom error, but it’s working fine without a relay!
This is forbidden by Apple guideline.

I tried to rent a car early March, and had to cancel the trip. I called over 5 times regarding getting reimbursed and it was only after I persistently tried calling was I able to get my money back. Two weeks Turo authorized additional charges regarding that trip which I did not take. I have called and emailed and customer service has been very slow to get back to me, and I still haven't gotten my money back. Would not recommend to anyone.

Hosts lie about their car. First host lied about the car’s functions and about which vehicle he had. And second host and a dangerous issue with his transmission and still tried to give it to me.
I got charged double as Turo did not care what happens to his guests.
