OK, I might be biased. My teacher has this and since my teacher has it, it’s completely free. It’s the best app dojo Islands is the best game in the whole entire world has number Shores where teaches you how to do math activities zone, which teaches you how to build and lots of other stuff. There’s also hidden rooms in the area areas. It’s the best app in the history of the world. It’s a game it’s communication with your classmates. I just wish you could actually like talk to your classmates on this. That’s the only thing.

Private messages and public chat in the same feed on homepage
It’s very confusing having the private messages from our teacher about our child appear on the same homepage feed as the public posts are on. Please fix this, it’s hard to know when replying to a message on this public feed if one is sending a private or a public message. Please put all private messages on their own tab; not sure why they don’t appear in Chats tab anyway if they are chats between the teacher and parent.

For something that the parents need to communicate for the school and we pay every month come on. We already have to pay xtra for transportation, over and above what the province puts in, then pay the school for any activities, then we have to volunteer for those activities to run after we pay for them. And now this app, come on cut us a break, or maybe donate to the schools.

Good but few improvements could make it great!
I really wish you could completely delete the classes instead of just archive. Why not have both options! I also wish you could either remove or move events when they pop up in the feed when being made. I don’t love the look of that especially since there’s a calendar section to go into.

I don’t like class dojo
1.Attendance and Points Limitation – If a teacher forgets to give points or mark attendance on the same day, the system does not allow making corrections the next day. This can be frustrating, especially if something was missed by accident or if the teacher gets busy. Having the flexibility to adjust attendance or points later would make the tool much more practical.
2.Inefficient Point Giving Process – When awarding points to students, the process is time-consuming. For each point, I have to open the student’s name again and again instead of being able to give points directly in sequence to multiple students. It would be much easier if there was a quicker way to assign points without extra clicks.

False notifications
The app is constantly showing the red dot when there are no new notifications. I see the dot, open the app, nothing new, pull down to refresh, nothing new. leave the app and the red dot is now gone.
It's starting to feel like a trick to get me to open the app.
It would also be nice when we do receive notifications not to get them about kids and classes and grades unrelated to our child.

Comme enseignante, il m’arrive de vérifier si les messages de mes parents d’élèves sont urgents ou non. J’aimerais pouvoir mettre un symbole « lire » ou « urgent » ou «ne pas oublier de répondre » lorsque j’ai lu le message. Tous les messages se confondent dès que je les ouvre.
(C’est la deuxième fois que j’en fais la demande… je n’ai jamais eu de retour de réponse ni vu de changement à l’application en ce ce sens depuis ma première demande 🤞🏼🤞🏼). Merci!!

Worst App! Not intuitive to use at all! Tried for 3 days, still cannot figure how to use it! All it does is to seduce you to pay and upgrade, again and again and again!!!

This app makes me question my child’s school
This is vapid and strange. My four year old does not use devices and certainly doesn’t need to ‘make a monster’ or have his own account. I don’t know what the paid version would be for but since the basic functionality seems pretty bad I wont be buying it.
I just want to get updates on my child’s school. Google classroom would have been better.

Cannot download photos of my child without paying for subscription
I am extremely disappointed that my son’s school has started using ClassDojo. There is so much functionality that you have to pay a costly subscription fee for - such as downloading photos of your own child! Disgusting business practice.

Seesaw is better
This app doesn’t let you copy your writing when you edit something from the app. Also it doesn’t let you change your pictures in edit mode. I just posted 10 photos (allow for more!) and 6 didn’t upload and now I have to delete the entire post since you can’t add as you go. Super annoying and parents are annoyed now too! Fix this please!

Crazy for Dojo
I love this app, I just wish the sensitivity of the microphone and sound monitor could be adjusted more for sensitivity. As it is now, it hardly picks up on my class sounds.
