Power Music NOW is designed for professional fitness instructors by the world’s #1 fitness music company, Power Music. It’s a music player with the ability to adjust the BPM of any song in your library instantly on the fly!

As a Power Music Now subscriber, you will have access to unlimited Power Music Albums and ClickMix (making your own mix). You can also access your downloads previously purchased from Power Music. NOW Subscribers can create custom ClickMixes on your device! For more details, see terms at the bottom.

You can create your own playlists from any of Power Music’s tracks and albums as well as any music downloaded on your device.

Included are two timers (simple and interval/Tabata).

Love it

I really like this app

It gives me so many options for music, cadence control and an interval timer all in one!

For me it works a like a charm and I always have a fresh playlist that is bpm appropriate for my kickboxing class! Love it!

Great tool for constant variety

So many songs to choose from the class never has to be the same! Very current music too. I love the features of click mixes to make your own and even import your music from your library. Customer Service was very helpful getting started.

Frustrating

Very hard to use, not very intuitive. Extremely laggy and unresponsive, also crashes a lot. Not worth the monthly subscription, every update hurts the app not improve it.

Super frustrated

I have had nothing but issues with this app since the new update and switch to power music Now. I can’t even log into the app and the website doesn’t come up for me either which makes teaching stressful and getting a hold of technical almost impossible. Extremely disappointing since this used to be the go to app for music in the industry.

How can they screw up something so simple?

After years of ordering CD’s for my classes I finally decided to move to an app. Right from the get go I’ve had nothing but problems. The app won’t open. If it opens, it won’t save my playlist. If it saves the playlist it won’t open in the player. If it opens in the player it won’t ‘finalize’. If it finalizes, it won’t play more than one track in class. I’ve spent way too much time and data trying to get it to work. Anybody have suggestions about a better app???

Don't waste your time with this app!

I used to use this app and liked it a lot but recently I am unable to create playlists. Every time I try to use the app I end up needing to call for technical service. Which is usually no help whatsoever. If you're a fitness instructor, do yourself a favour and find another app to use to play your music for your class. You will lose a lot of time and money on this piece of crap app!!!

This app was the best then went to the Worst!!!

This app went from the best app to the worst app after the latest update. I lost tons of playlists that took hours to create and the only solution that was provided from the support staff was to re-create all of them! Really? Not the right solution! So disappointed!

Better player but still needs work ASAP!

I am in general very happy with the updated version of the powermusic1 app now. I love the updated player and being able to see the playlist is very helpful. Also thank you for removing the constant need to verify and update the library.

I am however quite unhappy with the fact that the playback of my clickmixes is less than ideal. I find that the player will skip tracks for no reason, still claim to be playing the correct track, then repeat the track it just played as it catches up with itself. A huge problem when you are teaching any class. I have had the player stop playing before the playlist has come to an end. Most recently I have noticed that a lot of the albums available for download through this app have duplicated tracks through out the entire album. Every track will play twice before moving to the next track.

Once these issues have been dealt with I would very happily continue using this subscription and app but if they are not resolved, I will have to try another app and different company.

Must have!!

I love this app! It's an endless supply of music at my fingertips. I always have different music for my classes, and my participants appreciate it! I never get bored of the music and neither do they! I am so glad I bought this app and the subscription! So worth it!

I had initially given this app a 5 star.. But as of late the app doesn't seem to work when I need it to.. It's always freezing, and take what seems like forever to confirm authorization for anything. Just now I wanted to download some new music for a class that I have starting in about 45min, and it's been confirming authorization for about 10 minutes now... Super frustrating...

Love this app!

This app has made such an impact on how easily and readily available I have music for my PT sessions and classes. AMAZING! Now I have new music in a snap and I can change the beat to match anything I need! No more hours downloading music or spending constant money on songs and creating playlists!

Being new there are some glitches which I believe are being worked out. It does take a while to download and get to the list of music and offline access which is a must but that I can see is being worked on now. Every personal trainer or instructor should have this app! Awesome!

Frustrated

I use up to 5x weekly. This app worked for a short period of time. Now the app freezes, I have to delete and re-install before my classes and this happens at least 3x a week. Today the app played one song at the tempo I chose and then moved to the next song with the tempo as high as it could go and I was unable to slow the song down. Very frustrating!

This app is not working, it will only play one song not the entire playlist. It will also only allow you to hit play once, if you try to pause it, go to the next song or fast-forward it will not allow it. This app is not working please update.

Great app for fitness instructors

Love this app! At the studio I teach at we don't have a tempo adjustment that shows the new BPM so this is perfect. Make sure to put your phone in airplane mode while teaching (when an email comes in the music lags for a second). Build your playlists in iTunes then just add them here. You can only have one playlist active at a time but it works well to have your playlists sorted in iTunes. Great app overall!

I was skeptical of the quality of the pitch-preserving tempo transformation, but it turned out to be excellent. No audible distortion at all. I am impressed.

Fitness Instructor

I use this app all the time for my fitness classes. Love being able to control the tempo. It has doubled the size of my music library. My only critique would be the tendency for the app to sometimes skip a song near the end of the playlist, usually right before the tempo changes to slower stretching music. Hopefully this version has fixed that bug.

Le principe est intéressant. Cependant il est difficile d'avoir accès à nos listes de chansons. À chaque fois qu'on ouvre l'application en revient toujours à notre première chanson de la liste. Lorsqu'on en a 845, çela n'est pas très pratique. Une amélioration à ce niveau serait souhaitable.

Reliable & handy, would love more playlist features

It works! This enables me to adjust tempo for various fitness classes without the horrible sound that sometimes occurs with conventional pitch controls. The adjustments work reliably, although sometime the BPM detector is off, particularly on slower-paced tracks. My only suggestion would be to have the option to create and save multiple custom playlists, since I currently have to either start from scratch with a new mix, or add to an existing list that gets very long and difficult to navigate.

Really Great

This app is fantastic 99% of the time. Just a few glitches I noticed were sometimes it gets the real bpm wrong on the display. A couple of times it skipped a song on me and another time it repeated one. Love the ability to pre program bpm for each song of I want or just adjust on the fly for spin classes. This app makes it so you can use any playlist for any class which is worth a lot!!!

I am cautiously optimistic that this will work when i need it to during a class. Do find it annoying that i cannot seem to download multiple playlists as playlists from itunes.

Fitness professional

I had already purchased a tempo shifter but decided to get this one for the "gapless playback". I tried the same remix shown on the screenshots and not only did it skip worse than the app I already had, it also couldn't find the right BPM for some songs. For mixes with various BPM I found it couldn't lock to a constant BPM either.

Hopefully these issues have been resolved in the latest update. But since I already had an app that works just as good or better in some cases, this was just a waste of money for me
