Description
MyMedRec is a portable medication list that can be easily shared with your family, doctor, nurse, pharmacist or anyone else involved in your health care. It can be used to keep track of the medicines that you (and/or your family members) are taking.
MyMedRec was designed by Canada’s leading health care associations.

Email function does not work
It is a good app. However, when you try to send your data by using the email option, the app gives you a warning message and shuts down. Please, fix it!

Apple Watch
Est-ce que vous pouvez ajouter la possibilité d’utiliser l’Apple Watch, ce serait plus facile pour les rappels. C’est une application très complète. Mise à jour: les alertes apparaissent sur mon Apple Watch, c’est génial, bravo aux concepteurs 👍🏼

Doesn't back up our data
I have been using this app for years and I liked it very much, until I had to reinstall it. Now all the data I have been collecting for years have disappeared!!! It doesn't seem to be taking away backups like some other apps do. Very disappointing.

Recording medical information
I take quite a few prescription drugs and have found the app invaluable when I have to go to the hospital and information is required. And keep track of when I took my medication by day. And reminds me to take it at the specified times. Easy to set up and maintain. A would be nice to have is the database stored on the cloud so multiple devices could use the file. But for a free app it is phenomenal!

Well-designed and very useful
A wonderful app, the very best in this space. I can throw away all those vaccination booklets! Nothing frivolous, lots of data fields, and well-organized. It would be nice to have backup/restore functionality, but I can wait.

I use the app at the doctor’s office to note down my results as I get them and to provide the doctor with info as needed. It’s quick and easy to use.

Great Health App!
Love this app for helping to keep track of my family health records! It has a place for their health number, insurance records, medications, immunizations, and blood pressure and cholesterol info.
It comes programmed with basic options but also lets you add your own. So in addition to our family doctor, I can add the info for any specialists we might see.
Plus I can email records to back them up or send them to another health care provider or my spouse.
One change I'd love to see is the ability to view immunizations given in chronological order. Otherwise, a great app!
It would also be nice if app data were able to be synced somehow. I just upgraded my phone and it looks like I have to enter all the data over again.

Très bonne app. Mais problème avec les rappels!!
J'adore cette app qui est très utile mais pourquoi y a-t-il une limite au niveau des rappels de médicaments (sur iPod iso8)?? Cela me cause de gros problèmes puisque j'ai plusieurs médicaments et il y a peu de rappels accepter. Serais-ce possible d'enlever cette limite SVP????!! Ça m'aiderais beaucoup et je ne suis certainement pas la seule à avoir ce problème.
De plus, y a t'il une façon de retrouver ce qu'on a perdu dû à un bug de l'application comme les notes, les médicaments, ect....?? A partir de l'iCloud par exemple?!!

Waste of time
What's the point of of this app without a notification option? Answer: there is no point at all. Don't bother with this app.

No reminders!!!
Although the information collected is thorough, there is no point using a med tracker app that doesn't have the ability to remind you to take doses. The dose reminder function does NOT work - no pop up message or sounds.

The app has a nice layout, easy to input information, including reminder times, but it does not remind me to take my meds. No pop up, no sounds, nothing.
Since a reminder is the point of the app this is an epic fail.

No good. I can no longer access 'blood pressure' without rising my blood pressure because it crashes all the time.

Immunizations listed in chronological order would be a nice addition to this app. Otherwise it's great! All medical info in one place for the whole family.

Can't enter a name
This probably is a great app, but you can't set up a profile because the first and last name fields only let you enter numbers. Text is not an option. Pointless app

Awful
Can't add any names. It bounces you back out of the application. When you go to enter a name it gives you a number keyboard. All-around not working at all on iPhone5.

Great and easy to use
Really enjoy the ease and convenience of this app. I'm able to keep all my med recs and important info all in one spot. Really appreciate the additional patient profile options to keep track of my elderly parents' meds.

Dosage options
I need an option for taking a med every 3 days AND an option for taking mess on certain days of my cycle ( like only on days 14 - 28). Many women doing hormone replacement would use these options - with it, this app is no help.

App needs serious improvements
Tested for about 6 months. Great for recording your meds and information on you healthcare providers. The cons are that if you take meds right before or after the scheduled time it loses track & blanks out the check marks confirming the dose taken for the entire day. If you change your dose it loses track of all previous doses. Very annoying. I would not recommend this for people who need a reliable way to track their daily dosage. This has great potential, but needs bug fixes and poses a serious risk of overdosing.

Good App
I am enjoying this app very much & it has really helped me remember to take my medication. Although if I take it a bit early & tic it off it still reminds me to take it...not a big problem though
One thing I would love to see is a spot for diabetics so I can record blood sugar levels several times daily & be seen on a graph over time. This would be really helpful to have all in one place. Also a graph for blood pressure taken over time

Good App
This is a good and handy app, but it could use a few improvements. I would like to see it track dosage and subtract it from what's in the container, then remind you a week before its empty. I would like to see a database to describe each medication. I would also like to add heart rate to the Blood Pressure record and see a charting option. All this being said, these are simple fixes and I really like the app and use it every day. Way to go guys!

Good app but security drawbacks
Great app. It offers a security setting that prompts for a password before you can fully enter the program. The problem is when you use the medication reminders and you click on the reminder it bypasses the security and takes you right to the administrative record.

Not perfect
This is a great idea, but it doesn't do as much as the free app, mymed schedule, which has a database of meds that will bring up details of the drugs.
I thought that having emergency contact info in a password protected program not all that useful. You have to be conscious to tell someone to go to the app and find it--better to list on your contacts as ICE. If you are going to use this feature, you can only list one phone number for that person, needs to be expanded.
If you are on a medication with one dose in the morning and another at night, you have to list it twice. And it asks for the strength of the medication, not the dose--not always the same thing (the strength of a pill could be 20 mg, but you take a half a pill, for a dose of 10 mg, or two pills, for a dose of 49 mg.
I won't bother using this or recommending it.

Stress Reliever!!
This has to be one of THE BEST APPS I have on my iPhone. Finally I also can keep track of my personal medical records and keep notes on all the appointments, medications, natural products, and healthcare providers that I have come across. Love that it interacts with my contacts and calendar. Now, if only it can add in a Dropbox and or iCloud feature for backups. I truly recommend this to EVERYONE that wants to stay in the best of health.

Very user friendly
I like the app for its ease of use for inputting my kids medication and doctor info. Instead of writing it down on a piece of paper, it is all on one convenient platform that can be updated and maintained easily. I also like the ability to add a picture of the medication to each of my children's profiles. Great job!

Best med record with most options!
This FREE app allowed me to plug in all 5 family members, all health and immunization history, medical numbers, health issues, presricps, practitioners for each family member, all meds being taken, take a pic of meds, enter doses, set alarms for reminders, track administered doses, record pharmacy prescrip are filled at and more. It also allows a user to email the whole record of a person or just select parts. Very helpful with my one toddler who is chock full of health issues!
I tried three other med reminders, but this on offers a whole health history.
