This app is pure garbage. Even if they updated it it's too late the festival is over. Lineup and schedule would crash constantly.

Update makes this much better app
Would give it more stars, but the Lineup section freezes, crashing app. Makes it worthless. Doubt it will be fixed before fest over. Fire contractor who built this.

So much unoptimized graphics & animation on the first page make for long loading else it crashes when I try to find the lineUps. Can't use this app!

Wonderful app
If you want a horrible app that lacks creativity, features and makes you want to break your phone this is the one.
Features include:
Freezing
Outdated information
Poor design
Unclear menu items
Horrible ticket purchasing
And that is just naming a few.
So be sure to get this wonderfully horrible app while the festival is still on!!

Useful when not freezing
Very useful tool! Would be great if it could be connected to wristband's account to see the balance.
BUT it does keep on freezing and quite often.
I have an updated iphone5 with plenty of cellular data.

Crashes all the time, no way to access schedules. Worst app experience for a festival I've ever had, will reconsider buying a pass next year because of this.

Has never worked for me
I've never been able to access the lineup section, which is all this app really is supposed to provide. Would have been better to share a Google Doc with the lineup in it. This is all aesthetic with no functionality. Bad news considering the website is barely navigable on mobile.

Jams on iPhone 6
Doesn't work quickly on iPhone 6, or jams up completely. the Bluesfest apps usually stink and this one is par for the course.

Awkward and confusing
I don't know what's worse, looking at the lineup online on my iPhone or looking at it on this app. Not user-friendly, and the double tabs for each day are thoroughly confusing.

Great idea, but needs work
Design wise it's beautiful and has everything I would want. Line-up info that allows me to build my own schedule - BUT it crashes ALOT! Fix the bugs and it could be great. Still pumped for the festival :)

Very useful, create your own schedule works. Alarms telling you who and when is at the autograph boot, promotions happening on site... Won meet and greets because of it, it simply works.

Come on Bleusfest, you can do better!
You can't see the artist's "About" profile when you visit the artist from the day's line-up! You have to go to the full artist list and find the artist from there to read their profile. Very annoying!

Blues fest app works welll
Great app worked well with social media ( twitter ) and map was a great feature to find my way around the grounds. No problems yet.

The folks over at lixar should be burning the midnight oil trying to fix this app. Prone to freezing up, functionality that does not work. Users are better off just looking at the mobile unfriendly main bluesfest website.

Star function not working/no direct shortcut to update Facebook.
I keep trying to select the star function to add a performer to my favorites and it doesn't seem to be working. Also it's interesting that twitter was built directly into the app but not Facebook. I would have liked to have the option to post to either. Otherwise the map function is awesome and the lineup is great, love the ability to check out performances by artist/venue/date!

App keeps crashing
After opening once and surfing thru artists the app doesn't let you:
- favorite a band with the star (to add to calendar)
- click on band & review its profile
Kind of defeats the purpose of the app when you can't click on the artists to read up on them then favorite them o add to your calendar.
If this is fixed, the app would be great.
Would suggest a share button on the artists profiles so you can email, text or post to Facebook/tweet them.

Lineups show the wrong day
Title says it all. Bands show as playing the day before. For example, Dixie chicks are shown on the schedule for Friday, July 5 when they are actually playing on Saturday, July 6. This seems like a fairly major problem that someone should have caught well before now. Makes it not very useful.

Need better search terms
Finding this app was painful - all searches for "Ottawa bluesfest 2013" came up with unrelated garbage or unofficial apps. Had to go to the website to download. The rest if the app is great though.
