Intentionally misleading subscriptions
I originally signed up for one page I needed converted. I forgot to cancel within 7 days, my fault. When then tried to cancel the offered me two months free which I accepted because…why not. Then I got charged again a month later and canceled within minutes which apparently means I needed to pay for more than another month of fees. I’m sure the fine print justifies them but this is clearly meant to confuse and gouge the average person

My analysis and a review of the Adobe Acrobat Reader has been a positive one and an excellent one with 100% functionality. It’s easy out to use if you have a problem you can call Customer Service. It’s just really good at Tandy and it’s very useable and user-friendly rather and I absolutely love this app. I give it 100% of excellence.

Cancelling subscription
This is completely unacceptable and extremely frustrating. I canceled my Adobe Acrobat subscription, yet Adobe continued to charge my card again and again. When I contacted customer service, they admitted this was their own mistake, saying they “FORGOT TO UPDATE” my cancellation in the system. That excuse is ridiculous for a company like Adobe.
Even worse, I still have not received any refund for the unauthorized charges. My money was taken after cancellation, and despite spending hours talking to customer support, nothing has been resolved. I had to repeatedly explain the same issue, only to get empty apologies and no action.
I would never recommend anyone to use this app.

The only good thing this app/subscription has going for it is you can merge files. Other than that it’s completely useless. It’s mildly confusing on laptop, have to YouTube how to use it, and is completely useless on iPhone. There’s no way to save it to your iPhone files and it can only be shared via a link not attached like most pdfs need to be.

Generative AI Summery
The new version removed the settings for generative ai from settings snd now every time opening a document there is a banner for generative summery. How I can disable ai? The summery is the most useless feature and shows every time I open even same document. In 2006 I paid over $3000 for the cs5 suite. It was mandatory for school. Since 2018 when I had to use the adobe suite again, I have had to consistently pay $44 dollars a month on this program I already should rightfully own.

Generative AI bar a distraction
Generally I really appreciate this app - the free version does what I need it to do. With the recent update, the Generative AI bar at the top of my screen is a huge distraction when I am reading pdfs, and I haven’t found a way to remove it.
I can only think of a few instances where this feature would be useful, none of which fall under my usage of Adobe. Please include a way for the user to be able to make this bar disappear!

Adobe is one of the biggest brand names, I’m not sure why you guys feel the need to charge people to fill out a form.
This app was the absolute best, you could have flooded it with ads and I’d still have used it. Was fast and user friendly.

Free trial is a scam
Downloaded adobe to sign a form, wouldn’t work on my phone or laptop, got the “pro” version free trial on my iPad, still no luck. After 6 days I logged in online to cancel before end of the trial. Nothing anywhere showing the trial, only the option to upgrade to “pro”. Next day I am charged $29 for the month, wrote 2 emails without receiving any response. How embarrassing that this is how Adobe needs to scam for cash. Make it impossible to cancel without paying for a month, for a product that didn’t function. They also rejected my request for refund through PayPal, citing that the item was “delivered”. What a joke.

Garbage App Which Attempts to Take as Much Money as it Can
App is incredibly difficult to use on a phone, and if you sign up for the free trial- you have to sign up yearly (which is almost 100$ CAD!). This isn’t too bad on paper as you can just cancel before you’re charged right? Thing is, as soon as you cancel- the trial is taken away early. I’ve never seen this done before and frankly it’s quite stupid. I’d have maybe tried the monthly subscription after- but not anymore. It’s clear the app wants me to essentially spend 100$ immediately, and I’ve got MUCH better uses for that cash.

Retention Plan is a scam
During the free trail, I wanted to cancel it, then they offered me two months free, with a yearly plan; and during that two months I didn’t even use it....then after two months they charge you without notifying you.
When you contact the customer success, they say you signed the terms and condition :) it’s automatically charged, nothing written in there says you’ll be charged. Okay, so it’s all my fault? This is the kind of company that doesn’t care about customers, they only cares about money, even in this Covid19 period.
So, if they offer you something, don’t accept it :) they just want to make more money, they won’t care about you.

Too many bugs for commenting
I used this app mostly for editing and commenting papers by using my Apple Pencil. However, there are too many bugs that need to be fixed. It deleted my comments that I spent several hours to do it. That made my very angry about this app. So I decided to buy a notability app. Please. Do not use this app to comment things. I do not want things that happened to me to occur on other people.

Intrusive!
I have used this app for years, always found it to be helpful and effective but suddenly it wants me to sign up for an ID with all kinds of personal info - I’m looking for a new app so I can delete this one.

Not sure what this is anymore
It still works as a solid PDF reader, but editing is not as solid as before. I can't seem to annotate and draw over my PDFs for class anymore.

Service issues
Worst service. Paid for the full month, i am not able to access adobe premium. Called the customer service, the agent said it is accessible only on phone and i tried on phone as per he said, it isnt even working on the phone
